Texas de Brazil - Denver

I had such high hopes. Came for my anniversary Monday, Super overpriced and meat (filet mignon) was dry and over cooked. Most of the meat I tried tasted weird. The sliced pineapple with cinnamon was the best thing on the menu. If you’re looking for the best steaks in Colorado than try Russell's steakhouse in Vail. Also the waitress probably won’t argue with the customers either. 🙄

It saddens me to write such a disappointing review about Texas De Brazil in Denver at 8390 Northfield Blvd Ste 1800, Denver, CO 80238. My husband took my son and me for my 40th birthday dinner on Sunday, January 26th. He made reservations for us ahead of time and let them know that it was for my birthday. I have no idea why they even have the option of letting them know if you are coming in for a special occasion since no one in the restaurant acknowledged it or even offered dessert at the end of our meal. We should have known it was about to be a bad experience when we first sat down. The host sat us in the back next to the restrooms. Once we sat, we asked our server, Michelle, if we would be able to pay the kid's amount for my husband, who just recently has gone through gastric bypass surgery, and we showed her the official medical card. She went to get a manager, David, who showed no sympathy towards my husband and said they couldn’t do so since it was company policy. However, he didn’t explain the company policy or even look at the medical card. We were nice about it and stayed. Michelle, the server, stood within 2 feet of our table and stared at us eating our meal. The manager was also staring in our direction for a bit from a little farther distance. I asked Michelle, the server if there was a reason she was standing so close to our table watching us. She immediately responded with an attitude that she was watching the table next to us since they were paying their bill, and she has had people run out on their bill, and then she gets in trouble that is her section, so she needs to stay there. I explained that trying to enjoy our meal with her so close was uncomfortable, just staring at us. She didn’t care and stayed there the rest of the time we ate. The food was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but Michelle’s and David’s horrible customer service completely ruined my birthday. We have gone to Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse in the past, and they have understood and honored my husband’s medical card. There's nothing like being made to feel like a criminal when paying over $60 per person for dinner at Texas De Brazil. Due to both Michelle, the server, and David, the manager, we will NO longer be going back to Texas De Brazil.

The food was great. The service was great. Had a great time on Christmas Day.

The food is cooked well, there is lots of variety, and they aim to serve. I was disappointed that my food cost more than advertised on their website which was disappointing at the end ($56.99 FYI). Unfortunately, our waiter was not on the ball. I had to ask other wait staff twice for refills, and you need them as the food is quite salty. Nickel and dimed feeling really spoiled my enjoyment personally:(

Me and my fiancé dined here, and got severe food poisoning directly after, we threw up all night, and were extremely ill all night and the following day, I called the restaurant to let them know, and ask for a refund, and they said they would get back to me. After not getting back to me for a week, I emailed the customer service line, and again, after being ignored for 5 days, they said that since I didn’t have any medical records or “proof” that it was their restaurant that made us ill, they could not offer any sort of refund or compensation. If you enjoy throwing up and feeling deathly ill for 24 hours, mediocre dining experiences, and terrible customer service, you should definitely come here.

Best Brazilian steak house I've been to. Best food and environment

Colorado is famously the state of "not quite " I have been to other Brazilian steakhouses that were phenomenal, this one, as usual for Colorado was close but not quite as good as the others. I think if this was the first Brazilian steakhouse I have been to I would have been impressed But unlike the others There were only 5 options of meats. No seafood offered. Our waitress was extremely slow and the bathroom was dirty. But the restaurant was beautiful, the meat was good and all the sides were good. And we didn't know until we were walking out that they had desserts they are not displayed on the buffet and the waitress didn't tell us we just accidentally seen them on our way out

The food here is absolutely amazing as is the staff. They are always really nice. The only bad thing is the women's restroom. I have been going here for years and every time I use the restroom it smells like an open sewer.

Servers like Sofia really make your dinner special. Gauchos are so attentive to your meat requests. Caipirinhas are a must especially during the Happy Hour!

Parking: Since there is a mall nearby, there are many spots where you can park.

I walked in and was able to get a reservation for a party of ten. Within 20 minutes we had a table ready and were seated. The service here is impeccable as our server was very attentive, friendly, and continuously checked in us despite how busy it was. The salad bar was great as everything we tried was delicious. The proteins kept coming, each being delicious and fresh. It was an amazing experience and one that we all will never forget!
