My wife and I were on the hunt for a new place to dine, and we stumbled upon 49th. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. The shopping center where it’s located isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing, but 49th more than made up for it. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, like a log cabin, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The service was fast and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried the fish and chips and the meatloaf, and both were outstanding. The gravy for the meatloaf was particularly noteworthy. I highly recommend 49th for a cozy and delicious meal.

Best wings I’ve ever had in my life! All the burgers are incredible, this is such a great hidden neighborhood secret for amazing food. Cocktails are great too!

I had high hopes for the burger..... It was a good burger.... But not great. .... Meh. That was my thoughts after eating it. Nothing to really make me excited.

Great food, unique vibe, but weird anti-kid vibes. BYO high chair is one example.

Really good spot, excellent food and service, prices were just right. Only a short wait to get a spot at the bar on a busy night, be sure to add your name to the chalkboard!

The food is average and in no way better than that, though they try to offer a few unique options and skins on old classics. ‘A’ for effort but ‘C’ for execution.
The customer service is great and the staff are friendly but this might have a tendency to change if the place is busy based on their multiple ‘rules’.
These rules are not customer oriented but rather business oriented and kinds have a feel for ensuring as many transactions occur as possible.
Also, the charge a 3% fee for the kitchen that is over and above any tip you want to pay. The reason is because they want to keep menu prices low. Well, rather than actually paying their folks and reflecting the price in the menu, they rather bait customers at one price while surprising the fee in the end.
The place is ok, and all things considered a fine restaurant. And while none of this bothers me in particular nor was I affected by it, it is worth mentioning. Not a restaurant I would go back to.

Overall, typical bar food served with some "exotic" twists that doesn't warrant the price. Been twice. Best things are the fries. Got Shepard's pie which was an abomination of the dish. A plate of very acidic tomato-y chili with, no under-exaggeration, two teaspoons of potatoes. Wings were tiny and expensive. Burgers, no matter how you order, always come out medium rare. Thin, dry, boring. Ordered extra sauce because my burger was dry and was charged extra. Surprise "kitchen appreciation fees" applied at the end. This whole trend of paying an establishment's overhead has to end. If you can't pay your kitchen staff an affordable wage and stay open you should close up shop.

Fantastic burgers, great drinks, incredibly friendly staff. Their food has combinations you wouldn't normally think of, but it fits together in a way that makes you question why you hadn't had it before. It was our first time visiting and we will absolutely be back!

It was only ok. The French onion soup tasted like it had cinnamon in it. Not sure what the mystery spice was, but it didn't blend with the traditional French onion flavors for me. The cheese on the salad was very strong, both in taste and odor. Hubby said his fish and chips were only so so as well. Service was good, though. No complaints about our waitress.

Fantastic food with great options. Not the microwave chair junk. One of my new favorite places.
