My friend and I made a reservation (based on website recommendation). Parking for this location is not great, which we anticipated. We ended up ordering a lot of food and a few drinks. Most of the food was really good but the shrimp was overcooked. My drink was the Spanish 75 which was great, and my favorite plate was the patatas bravas. The service from our waiter was wonderful, he was attentive and polite, and the general atmosphere is nice. The table we were at felt a bit cramped next to others and almost as soon as we paid the manager came over to tell us they needed us to leave because they needed the table, even though we still had our last drinks and some food left. An overall decent experience but I won't be running back.

We had an absolutely wonderful meal at 9th Door. Our server Hannah was excellent as was the manager who helped us with a last minute reservation and was very accommodating. Thank you! we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and booths. We ordered way too much to list is all but enjoyed it all. Highlights include the paella, mushrooms, short rib relleno and eggplant dip. How did the kitchen do all that?! Such a great gem of a restaurant!

My party was asked to leave the restaurant (we were only there for about 90 minutes) for a reservation they were expecting. We were stunned, there were several vacant tables and booths available. We paid our 100$ tab and left, would have continued to enjoy happy hour there.... went down the block. We were not obnoxious in any way. Simply stunned. Stopped by on the way back to my car... our table... and several others, were vacant. I let all my friends know of this horrible encounter.The restaurant was not busy, it was Thursday Happy Hour ...

My wife and I came here to share some tapas before going to the Colorado Speaker Series event. This is how we get date nights.The ambiance is excellent with an entire wall lit in a way that resembled the appearance of the Destroyer from the first Thor movie with light coming from between strips in an epic way. Maybe eyes roll at that description, but I'm a huge nerd, so let me have my fun and everyone is free to come sit at one of their tables and find their own ideas for the appearance of that awesome wall art. Indeed, I recommend it.The food we tried was mostly excellent. One of the dishes didn't particularly appeal to us, though it's possible it suffered from being compared to other tapas that were truly fantastic.As a heads up, the restaurant does make use of a hidden, additional fee. It's relatively small, around 2%, and the owner/chef's choice to go with that instead of menu price changes isn't a topic I want to engage here. From what I can tell, he is genuinely out for the success of his restaurant and his people and so, if you read this, know that it is there, and probably don't worry too much about it because you'll risk missing out on a genuinely wonderful experience.
