After a long walk around Wash Park, my friend and I opted for a little treat on the patio. I was craving something Iced so I settled on an iced Americano with caramel with a splash of cream, while my friend craved something warm and landed on an apple cider. Service was quick, friendly and within about 2 minutes, we made our way to the front patio. Each drink was just right and hit the spot. Next time I'll try something different to extend my palate and dive into the various pastries, bagels and other offered in the cases up front! This spot is popular and now I see why!

I frequent all three Bardo locations often as a professional driver, and they always make me a great Americano. Always. The music's good, and I really like the staff too. We just need to find them a space on the east side of town!

I work and go to school nearby the Bardo, it is hands down my favorite coffee shop! The drinks are fantastic, so are all of the employees and the atmosphere. They are good to all their customers, and to local first responders ❤️

I only go to Bardo when nowhere else is open and I need somewhere to study out of the house. Unfortunately this is the only shop that caters to the late night student crowd- otherwise I’d never go back.If you come at peak times it’s just about impossible to find a table. That’s through no fault of the management. What is the fault of the management is their extremely rude, penny-pinching attitudes.I have been asked to leave because I chose not to order a drink until a friend arrived. Their wifi comes in the form of a 2 hour access code, and you must purchase something new each time your wifi runs out. What happens if your wifi goes out while you’re editing an assignment and about to turn it in? You have to hope that the barista at the front will take some mercy on you and slip you a wifi code without making you buy something else.I met a former Bardo barista at another coffee shop I frequent, and found out the manager is known to fire employees if customers like them too much, and that he watches the cameras so he can fire employees who give customers the wifi code without forcing them to make a purchase. I haven’t been back since finding this out, and frankly I don’t think I plan to give such a predatory business my money. I’d rather study at a 24-hour Denny’s.

I can't believe I just found out about this coffee shop today. I have been trying a ton of coffee shops in the area, and so far this is my favorite! They had a great variety of familiar and unique menu items. As someone who has a dairy allergy, I have been disappointed time and again by coffee shops with limited food options to grab with my lattes. Not at the Bardo Coffee House! They had many different vegan, dairy free and gluten free menu options. I was so excited to get a vegan breakfast burrito and it was delicious! I also had a grinch - a matcha oat milk drink with pistachio that was amazing!! The staff was extremely friendly too. I will absolutely be back and recommend this place to any and everyone!

Still one of the only late night coffee shops. Definitely a busy place so a table isn't always guaranteed. Please share the booths if working solo!

Coffee, customer service, etc. all good. There are so many coffee shops on this city that you can't ever really just choose one, or I can't, but I would visit again.

Nice coffee house. My hubby and I have visited twice. Nice relaxing place for a coffee and tea and perhaps a sweet treat.

The place was a bit grimey and drinks were mediocre but its a great late night work space.

Solid spot for coffee lovers plus the ambiance is really well ordered with soft atmosphere. Love chilling here with friends to have a chit chat over pastries and coffee. Will surely come back!

This place has a good ambiance and is one of the few coffee shops open late. It's a nice place to get work done in the afternoon or evening. The coffee is good and they have a variety of snacks (including gluten free ones!) They give you a wifi code when you purchase something. The wifi is only good for 2 hours, which is annoying but overall would recommend it.

I usually come in on weekend mornings for their Grinch latte with matcha, oat milk and pistachio. Their drinks chalkboard has been refreshed. I noticed increased prices for everything. Most items were raised 25 cents from December 2023. They still offer pastries, breads, burritos, salads and sandwiches. Wifi is still free. Plenty of seating with light background music. Their sidewalk patio has two tables and dogs are welcome. I was served by the long time manager. He said increased costs for everything caused the increased prices. But I will return.
