I'm not sure why this place sells itself as an Irish pub, it's an off-track betting facility with a strange vibe. The menu needs some serious copy help (random fonts, etc. with last year's date on it) and the food options are limited. The fish and chips tasted like they came from the generic frozen food aisle; it was so gross. Lastly, they charge for water. I've never been to a drinking establishment that won't give you a free glass of water. I will not return, there are too many other decent options in Denver (and a genuine Irish pub right across the street).

The fish and chips tasted like they came from the frozen food section of the supermarket and the sausages were tiny and flavorless. Food was overpriced for the quality. Ask for a glass of water and server brought a bottle of water that we’d have to pay for. No mention of that when we ordered. The vibe in this place is really strange. It’s clear they care more about being a betting place than a pub. Would not return.

We stopped by here to grab some food on St. Patrick’s day. I ordered the sausages with curry for $16… They brought out 2 TINY sausages (about 1 1/2” long each; no joke) with a little side of dipping sauce. Like what!?? I discussed with the server who said there’s been a lot of complaints. I don’t know how they served this with a straight face. Also, no refills on soft drinks and you need to pay for water. What!?? Won’t be returning.

For many acquainted with downtown Denver. The Celtic is a frequent stop for food and drink. However, this pub is also the home of many Denver based PML/MLS supporter groups as well as home to many just seeking a unique place to relax with friends. This is really the kind of pub one might only expect to find in books or tall tales told in lesser bars.Noel, Wendy, and staff make this place feel warm and cozy.Treat these people like friends and they'll treat you as family.

Cool old Celtic vibe to the place, and the food and beverages are AMAZING! TRY THE Guinness mixes, you will not be disappointed!

Love this pub. I only ever come in the mornings for EPL games, but they pour a great pint of Guinness and the craic is always mighty. The Irish breakfast is decent too! Plus it’s a the official location for Denver Gooners and for the US Outlaws (USA men’s national team).
