Rad food, rad bartenders, rad music, rad people. Been here for everything from Pride to Halloween to a snowy Monday night, and never had an experience fail me. Very queer friendly.

Came for the Halloween dance party! It was my first time at The Crypt and it won't be my last. The vibes were immaculate. And all the staff was lovely.

The Crypt is fantastic. The whole vibe is perfect. Dark and Spooky. Great old horror movies playing on the screens. Tasty food. Awesome drinks. A terrifying bathroom.. in a good and spooky way. I love the Goth nights. The occasional venders. All the variety of shows they have. And the Staff

Great local spot with friendly staff. Awesome vegan/vegetarian options.
Idk what I’m missing but this was some of the worst vegan food I’ve had in Denver. Super disappointed, especially for the price

Trust me, I am no Karen - I’ve literally done maybe 3 reviews in my life….
My wife and I have LOVED this place. It’s always been a safe place. After an accidental arm bump (to another patron) from a friend of ours during a conversation at the bar (on our friend’s birthday!!) and me (seriously one of the most passive people in the world) trying to apologize / make things right, was confronted by a bartender to basically shut up (over an arm bump
In which we apologized for and even scooted our chairs down to prevent again). Basically, we forced to close our tab (including the birthday girl) and then booed out of the bar (by the bartender). Sad that we will never be back…. Hope the person our friend accidentally bumped was the owner or someone one bartender is dating….actually either way not good for business.

I wish I could give zero stars — gone here for years. And tonight was the end of it especially because of the bartenders and one person. My cousin accidentally nudged a woman sitting in the corner watching women’s wrestling. This woman said “Oy.” My cousin immediately apologized but the woman wouldn’t give it up. Then she went to go talk to two bartenders who didn’t like that another girl from our group apologized, and even made me and my cousin scooch down the bar. Then it got crazy. One bartender told my friend that “some people don’t like apologies” because it keeps things “going”. I snapped at the bartender that I thought it was weird my friend profusely apologized about my cousin’s flailing arms, that’s when she screamed at me and told me to get out. I heard around my back “Out! Get out!” It turned into a humiliating event of them kicking us out.
I will never, never return to a previously very gay-friendly bar that I sadly will deeply miss. If it comes down to respect, we were not treated with it. Although there was yelling on both sides, coming from me twice, my group felt disrespected for an honest mistake. For the two bartenders who “handled” the situation for the woman sitting in the corner watching women’s wrestling, you’ve ruined a once-coveted bar.

This was such a fun place until the bartenders rudely kicked us out for absolutely nothing but minding our own business and accidentally almost hitting a drink at the bar. We profusely apologized but were accused of “not minding our own space” which was NOT what happened at all. It was incredibly demeaning for our whole party who were being very respectful of everyone. I had really loved this bar but will not be going back.

The service was great until it wasn’t - I have loved this place for years until tonight. Such a shame - won’t be back unfortunately.

It's always a good time here. Drinks are reasonably priced, food is always delicious, and the crowd is always super friendly! If you like drag, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays are great daytime shows!

I guess giving the food a 1 star could be considered unfair considering they took my order but never put it in. Also ordered a French Gimlet but they made me a gin and seltzer a lime wedge on the rocks. Both bartenders were hostile and rude. Also what self respecting metal bar plays Falling In Reverse especially right before a drag show? Poser DJ.

I've been to the Crypt many times, and if I can say nothing else it's that they are a beacon in hard times. I can't tell you how many times they've treated me well even when I don't deserve it.
Please treat the staff there well. They will treat you in kind. Even as someone who isn't there often, I can attest to their value. So much love for this spot.
