We also got the vegan combo for 2, as the other reviews! It was delicious and flavorful! Restaurant staff is friendly. There was no wait to be seated or to be served. The potatoes were my favorite! We could come again Updated from previous review on 2025-11-16
Best Ethiopian food in the city. Have been going here for years- perfect encapsulation of a family run restaurant that never sacrifices quality.

“Flavorful” describes it. This is a very solid example of Ethiopian food (at least as served in the US — haven’t been to Ethiopia itself so no point of comparison). If you’ve been to Ethiopian before you will not be surprised by anything. The menus all seem to be pretty much the same and this is no exception. But that’s not a reason not to go. It’s damn delicious. And, for first timers like my kids, the joy of eating with your hands / injera is something not to be missed.

Best Ethiopian in Denver without a doubt. Family run for many many years. Try the vegetarian and meat combos. You won’t regret it.

Delicious Ethiopian food, one of our favorite hidden gems in Denver. Super flavorful, hearty portion sizes, great service, overall an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend checking this restaurant out! The spicy beef stew was a particular favorite.

This family run business deserves more than five stars! It's a shame I don't dine here as often as I should, but it truly is a hidden gem of authentic Ethiopian food.
The staff is always accommodating, kind, and thoughtful. When I dined here regularly, the owner of the establishment would remember me!
If you're looking for a unique culinary experience, I would highly suggest this place. The meats and lentils never disappoint, and their sour bread is to die for. Paired with one of their Ethiopean beers, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Although suitable for a small group, I think this place is best with a large group as food is often shared and you'll be able to try more things on the menu.

Went here with 2 nonvegans and we agreed to share the vegan sampler plate. It's a lot of food!! We enjoyed everything.
I’m from an area with a large Ethiopian community, and this is still by far the best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had. The people are friendly, the service is good, and the food is top tier.

The most delicious Ethiopian food in Denver by far. The service is excellent. I always get the vegetarian combo because the lentils are amazing.

The food is absolutely amazing and the service is very friendly. I shared the vegetarian special and collard greens with my boyfriend and it was plenty of food for both of us. I also really enjoyed their herbal tea.
