terrible drinks & service!! they do Not have a drink menu; no pricing listed anywhere (even on the QR code menu) Friend ordered a cran./vodka, when we asked bc it tasted like juice water, it was then revealed they dont even use vodka- they use a cheap 'liquor mix'?! All drinks were like this, but were 8-10$. So we each got +1shot to add to our drinks; making ea. drink 17$. When i got my hubby & I's, 1 had the shot, and 1 didnt (clearly tasted different, as anyone would expect). Unfortunately i didnt watch her make them. I just let it go, assuming she didnt hear me and just rang up 1+ shot. We shared both drinks, worked out fine. We only stayed ~20-30min, then got the bill:$60 for 3drinks & 1sm. fry basket; since we had to pay separately to get alcohol for our drinks. When i mentioned that 1 of our drinks didnt get the shot, she just said "you asked for [the +2 shots]". Unfortunately, even though I clearly knew she was lying, I had no way to prove that she only added 1shot to 1 of the drinks, unless her boss were to take a drink out of it (ofc wouldnt happen).Foods expensive, drinks are faux, pricing untransparant - just a money trap for tourists and holiday bar hopping. The staff are not interested in offering honest quality & growing regular clientele/loyal bar community like a lot of other great bars in Denver - go elsewhere!

I have lived in Denver over a decade never been here before last night that was my mistake...decent bar food local wine and beer ..loved the touch tunes jam box...I will go back need to take photos the outside doesn't match the inside .. really good vibes here can't wait to go

There’s a $10 minimum for card, just get a Jell-O shot and a draft if you want to float over that lower limit.Demographic ranges from college-aged to retiree, generally an all-welcoming place.If you’re being economical there’s pitchers, drafts for some umph, food is above average bar fare (the nachos are generous, the wings are good, burger is remarkably yum). Pool table in the back has its own charm, and the staff is overall very kindKaraoke Fridays is a pretty happy time. Overall this is my go-to place to start or end a night, or get out of the house for a drink and some pool.Rooftop patio in the warmer season is very nice. Sucks they built a huge apartment across the street, but that’s inevitable everywhere and there’s still a good enough view and plenty of sunlight. Could make for a good game of “I spy” once it becomes occupied, I suppose.

The Fainting Goat is one of the best bars in cap hill. Sports on many TV's, darts, pool, upstairs patio, karaoke on Friday, and Claire is the best bartender in Denver. She'll pretty much do anything you ask if you tell her it's your bday

Decided to leave this review based on last two times that I have stopped in.Last Wednesday , I stopped in for a burger and it was really bad, BUT stopped in again yesterday on Christmas with some other friends. I ordered the French Dip and it was AWESOME!Thank the cook on Christmas for making the visit great this time and the very cheerful bartenderHappy New Year Fainting Goat!

Great dive bar with great people and a fun environment. People here are like family and it is always a fun time. Karaoke is fun on Friday but painful on the ears ? highly recommend and my mom loves coming here when she visits.

Why do you think this place is dead on a Friday night at happy hour? The horrible bartenders drove all the longtime locals off. This place sucks since the new owners took over. Another ol school Denver bar ruined.
