I was really looking forward to trying The Ginger Pig, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The Bangkok Balls were incredibly dry and lacked any flavor. The dumplings were only warm, not hot, though the chili oil was a redeeming factor. The cucumbers were probably the best part of my meal.
The biggest disappointment was the “Korean Cornflake Dog” it was nothing like an actual Korean corndog, which left me wondering why it’s even on the menu. On top of that, the service was off putting. When I went to order, a staff member took the takeout menu right out of my hands, handed me a restaurant menu, and then threw the takeout menu away while I was still standing there, as if I had COVID. It was a bizarre and unwelcoming experience.
I honestly don’t understand how this place has a Michelin rating. The food was mediocre at best, and the service made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. Definitely not worth the visit.

There were lots of people when my friends and I got to the restaurant, so it was an hour wait. But the food is delicious so totally worth the wait. Staff are very nice. All the food are filled with lots of flavors.

I ordered their eggplant green curry and a couple sides to go and was super disappointed. $20 for a tiny container of green curry and it wasn’t even good. The Bangkok balls and cucumber salad were ok, but I couldn’t even eat the curry. Wish I had just made my own at home for $3 …bummer.

A little hard to decide between a 3 or 4. A 4 for me means worth the visit. A 3 means potentially worth the visit. The restaurant markets itself as street style food but it has high end prices for the portion size. It doesn't really quite add up. Plus not a huge fan of ordering up at the counter and watching people wait several minutes to do the same thing. I'm not a huge fan of the restaurant's concept from top to bottom.

Good, almost great. The food is good but isn't very authentic and seems to lean heavily on salt and sugar to make it tasty. Having Chinese characters/Pinyin on the menu (where I was the only Chinese person in the entire restaurant) feels like the food should be authentic. Also, serving rice in a takeout container feels a little offensive given the sacredness of rice as the foundation of a Chinese meal.
However, the spice is nice and the flavors pop well if you're not expecting truly authentic flavors and are used to Westernized cuisine. Definitely above average for Asian food in Denver, but I'd recommend South Federal/Broomfield/Aurora for better and less expensive Asian food.
For the price and all the added service fees, I would have expected full service and food served in non-plastic dishes. It's a nice way to try some dishes without venturing out too far.

Food was good. I didn’t love that there was a wait and then on top of the wait you need to order st the counter in which there’s another wait. And if you go back…you get the point. We also sat in the front section where they have heaters. It gets either hot or cold. Never a in between and the table next to us was freezing because the heat was centered right over ours. The poor hostess was running running around bussing tables and seating folks, and you look over at the bar and there’s three bartenders! I didn’t understand the system at all. The food was good but I think what will keep me from going back is the whole process of dining in. No thank you to that!
Overall, the hospitality was not my jam.

Portions are very generous and pricing reasonable. Unfortunately, I ordered a pork dish that was severely overcooked and just awful. My two dining partners ordered other entries that they were pleased with. I guess it is a hit-or-miss gamble eating here. Atmosphere very basic simmilar to a cheap diner so not date night material.

Overall meh. I tried the char siu, Korean fried chicken, peanut tofu, crab green curry, rice balls, tom yum noodles, eggplant. Peanut tofu was the worst. It's half just plain raw spinach. Meats were dry and not very flavorful. Rice balls and tom yum were pretty good.
I’ve been here a few times and it’s a good experience each time. They don’t accept reservations and the wait is often long if you go at peak times. This time I got the Karaage. It didn’t come with a sauce so you have to order a sauce for it, so besides that it just seemed like fried chicken. It was good though, but I’d probably get something different next time. The absolute best thing on the menu is the sauce for the dumplings! I don’t eat beef so have not had the dumplings themselves, but the garlic sauce they put the dumplings in is absolutely incredible. Sometimes it gets a little cold inside during the winter, but overall worth checking out.

The char siu here is a standout, offering a unique twist on the classic—smoky and tender, the pork practically falls apart with a fork, delivering that perfect balance of sweetness and savory goodness. A must-try for anyone who loves this dish but is up for a little innovation.
The Xinjiang cumin lamb, on the other hand, is a delightful journey of flavor with the bold, aromatic spices that really stand out. While the lamb itself was tender and flavorful, the pickled bell peppers served with it were a bit off, not quite marrying with the richness of the meat. However, the lamb itself was enough to win us over.
The lumpia eggrolls are another dish worth mentioning. While they stray from the traditional, they still manage to be a crowd-pleaser. Crispy and savory, they hit the spot, even if they aren’t exactly what you’d expect from a classic lumpia.
And the cocktails? Simply stellar. Each drink was thoughtfully crafted, with a balance of flavors that complemented the meal perfectly. They elevate the overall dining experience, making it clear that this spot takes their drink menu just as seriously as their food.
Overall, I’d highly recommend giving this fusion restaurant a try. It’s not your typical fare, but that’s what makes it exciting. Come with an open mind and an appetite for something different—you might just discover your new favorite spot.

The food was delicious, except for the Japanese chicken (very bland). It is a self-service type of place. Place your order at the counter, get your own water, etc. It adds to the relaxed atmosphere. It is very small, but it is quite noisy.

5 stars for the food, but the rest of the experience brings it down a little bit.
It’s definitely pricey for the portion you get. A long wait, with no reservation system. It was cold in the outer section until they eventually turned the heaters on. The auto 5% fee was a shocker, especially for counter service. We weren’t told it was counter service when seated, so we waited about 10 minutes before going up to order, which was disappointing.
I would come back for the French toast. Would recommend more sauce on the kids chicken/rice/broccoli - that dish was lacking flavor.
