The bouncers, Calvin and DeVontai, charge people even over $100 to let them in on top of what the bar already charges, so be prepared to drop over $100 just to get in. This place is still trash, thought that maybe because there was a change in the staff it would be better but no, it is a bunch of entitled wannabes that think they are tough. Their bouncers instead of helping people when someone is getting jumped they hold that person's friends back and allow them to get jumped and then on top of that, they kick out the person that gets jumped instead of the people that are still in there causing problems. Can't wait until this place gets sued cause at this point it is just a matter of time. Go to any other bar in the Lodo area and I promise you'll have a better time anywhere else. People are smoking cigarettes everywhere to the point other people start coughing because it is such a small place, bartenders are the slowest bartenders I have seen, just don't waste your money and time here.

The gin mill is the worst ! Me and my five friends tried to go there and no. We had to pay 20 dollars to get in and no drinks nothing we paid 20 dollars to go to the bathroom. Don’t come here they tried to have us pay 10 dollars plus the 20 dollar cover fee for them to just to tell us they close at 1:30 not worth. I paid 20 dollars to go to the bathroom and leave.

I ordered a beer, a deep eddies soda, and a Malibu and redbull. We were charged for Tito’s x4 and paid $51. And was ignored by the bartender for the rest of the evening. We are from out of town and the last two time we went up we’re charged for more than what we ordered. Wish I had a better experience because I heard such amazing things.

Bouncers were VERY RUDE! Waited in a long line just for the bouncer to say if “I’m going to have attitude then I need to leave” and got kicked out before I even got in ? and ALL I did was show my ID! CRAZY ! NEVER coming back! Taking my money else where!
