Fish taco, pork tacos and Pupusa were made with fresh ingredients and so tasty. The happy hour is a super deal ...drafts are $4 including Guiness. We were there on mojito Monday $5. Great value!

We hadn't eaten there in several years, but it was great to eat there once again. The Latin bunch menu was fantastic.

Love the Hornet, and our server, Megan was really great at taking care of all six of us. Highly recommend the tacos and the ahi tostadas!

The chilaquiles' sauce was very delicious and I would've never expected lettuce would go so well with it. A nice surprise was also the eggs on top of the popusa which was a nice twist. The service was great and place had a good ambiance

I only got takeout but was treated like gold while I did it (while visibily genderqueer) and my gluten free cubano was really delicious, really great brioche style GF bun. Nice crispy, flavorful fries too.

I would first like to preface that the Hornet WAS my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed on the service today, especially with Katelyn F.

We were seated outside, which makes sense because we didn’t have a reservation and it was Mother’s Day. I inquired if we could sit inside, but she said we couldn’t. That’s fine. We then go ahead and order our meals. We got fries for the table, and I asked for sauces to come with the fries. We were served the fries by a different waitress with no sauces. We didn’t even get our waters yet. I politely ask Katelyn “when you get a chance, can-“ and was abruptly and rudely cut off by her scolding at us “I’ll be back” as she is already walking away. She never asked “is everything okay, can I get you anything else?” She dropped the food and ran off. She then goes ahead and helps other tables. We sat there for 10 minutes with no service until a different waitress came by with the rest of our sauces and all of the rest of our food. Katelyn never checked in on us, and when we asked for the check, she threw it on the table and walked away. No “thank you for dining with us, thanks for your patience” nothing. The interaction was so uncomfortable that my little sister cried from how disgusting and awkward that treatment was. I asked my entire table “did I say something wrong?” And everyone at my table said “you didn’t even get your sentence out, she ran off before you can even finish your sentence”. Are you serious? Was I supposed to know that my favorite restaurant would end up having my guests in tears? I’m honestly embarrassed because of how much I hyped up this place to them, and THAT was what our treatment was like. It was so rude and I honestly can’t look back and say that this is my favorite restaurant anymore, which honestly really sucks considering that I am a frequent diner at both Acova and the Hornet. Please do better.

Great food and service. $5 Bloody Mary bar and huge TVs to watch soccer ..: no earlier than 10 tho. Great menu had the prime rib hash!

Above average food but below average service- somewhat mediocre- more of a bar.

Very attentive staff. they even called ahead to check on special needs of requests, plus they called me after we left to report that a pair of airpods was left on the table!

Great Saturday lunch/brunch spot. Has a friendly neighborhood vibe with great drinks and menu. I appreciate that they have both their brunch menu and lunch menu available. Definetly something for everyone.

Absolutely love Hornet Restaurant! The food is always amazing, and the service is top-notch. Sean brings such great energy—friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about the experience. The whole atmosphere is warm and inviting, and I especially love the unique touch of the street sign out front. It really sets the tone before you even walk in. A must-visit spot!
