Not a place to get specialty or upscale cocktails & they do not know how to make an old fashioned although they list it as one of their signature drinks lol. But overall good vibes here. Limited seating so mostly standing around with your homies

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a dive bar, but it's close. It's an awesome bar with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and regulars, and the food is solid. Their happy hour is amazing. $8 subs and cheap drinks from 3-6pm. I'm glad I dropped in for a visit.

I hadn't been into this place since before COVID but I was in the neighborhood and decided to check it out again. The woman bartender...I'm not sure if maybe I resembled someone who murdered her entire family but that's what it felt like. She was extremely cold and short with me, meanwhile being extremely friendly and personable with basically everyone else in the bar. I've never been to made to feel more uncomfortable or more unwelcomed in my entire life.
Affectionately known as The Shoe, it has a retro vibe dive bar, but not too divey. Good food, pizza, tots, OK drink selection, great bartenders. A neighborhood fixture in Uptown, and a must-visit if you’re looking for a cool dive bar experience.
