Everything was good except the way that we started off the night. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, which they did bring us a complementary glass of champagne, which was very nice. As petty as it is, we had three minutes to spare for the happy hour, and by the time the waitress came to us the time had expired. We tried to order a drink at the last minute, but she wouldn't even entertain it. When you're spending $250 on a meal and the weight staff can't even help you to get a cheap drink right out the gate. It sets a bad experience. Customer service lacks when you have a two hour happy hour and you can't validate a last-minute request. It just looks poorly on such a high establishment that they're not willing to give you a small discount at the last minute.

The food at The Kitchen is very good! They serve family style which allows you more opportunity to try more dishes. It's a fun way to dine.

Three tiny rings of delicata squash for $14.50? Even NYC restaurants aren't that stingy. The grilled oysters were excellent, the Parker House rolls were tasty and the gnocchetti were good, if heavy...though perhaps to be expected of gnocchetti. The crispy cod was almost inedible. The wine list was nice, and we very much appreciated discovering the Château Mourgues du Grès white.

It seems like their quality is declining. We have frequented here and this latest visit was not up to what we had experienced in the past. Food quality was not nearly as good with some offerings like warm and others average at best. Hopefully this was a one time issue as the past visits have been very good.

New Year's Eve is a tough night to dine out. Our server was gracious and kind and helpful to me and my daughter and her teenage friends. She made our New Year's Eve dinner a pleasure. I had not been to The Kitchen in a few years, and the food was great!

Wow! Appetizer “carrots “ is amazng, with a spicy feta cream sauce.. The cod was delicious, with a Greek tsasiki sauce. All the staff have been working here a long time, from Chandler (head cook) to McKenna (greeter) to my very helpful server Julianna. Highly recommend!

We walked in on a whim yesterday since we were nearby, and everything ended up being fantastic. The service was outstanding from start to finish despite being busy, and the food somehow topped it!!
Everything we had was so well done, but the carrots were honestly one of the best things I’ve eaten all year. Didn’t expect that at all, but they completely stole the show. I now understand why everyone recommended them.
The host with the pink hair was so kind and really helped make an ordinary night a very memorable night for us. She was incredibly welcoming, and went out of her way to accommodate us and make sure we felt taken care of right from the moment we walked in. Thank you for being awesome and getting us in!
Overall, great food, great service, and a solid vibe. Definitely glad we stopped in and will absolutely come back soon.

My team and I recently hosted a corporate event and dinner here, and it went wonderfully. Working with the staff, including Sammy Moody, was an excellent experience, and they ensured everything went off without a hitch. We will absolutely be returning to host future events with The Kitchen!

Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food was well-done and my family and I enjoyed their Thanksgiving offering! Turkey was moist and portion sizes for all items were great. Would love to go back and try their regular menu!

Beautiful space and great people at The Kitchen American in downtown Denver. I ordered the Cubano and the flavors were good, but the bread was a bit soggy. I would still come back because the service and atmosphere were excellent.
