I don’t ever write reviews but Corey here at the Local has definitely changed my mind. Not only was he friendly as soon as we walked in but he knew what to recommend and made great drinks. Me and my boyfriend have only lived here a few days but we keep coming back to the Local for Corey’s vibe alone.
First of all, this place does cater to people outside the community so let’s get that out of the way bc that was confusing to us. Corey helped navigate us to the entrance, to the gate off of Valencia (just tell them you are going to the Local) and recommended the quick lunch wrap with a Pina colada. Absolutely fantastic experience at The Local! Corey and Peeps went above and beyond to make my time there memorable. The food was incredible, with every dish perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The drinks were top-notch, expertly crafted, and always refreshing. Corey and Peeps made sure I felt welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire month I was working in the area. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made The Local feel like a home away from home....
