Great place. Lots of games, free Mario Kart for the kids(or adults). Large outdoor space. Live music. Chili fries were on point. They do have Non Alcoholic selection of beers. Will definitely come back.

Reviews were pretty high. Photos looked to have 6-8 pinball machines. Food looked decent and not a lot of complaints. Wanted to go hang out with my 10 yr old before an avalanche game, eat some food and play pinball games cause the Google photos showed a boat load, but when we got there it was not what the photos showed or we expected which was such a bummer. We got there and there were only 2 pinball games. They had several claw games, one my 10 yr old kept trying for a mystery card pack thing couple times that didn't even start and we had to ask for a dollar back, they had two large screen arcade games one hunter/zombie shooting game which turned on but didn't work, one golf game that I was like we are not even going to try, they had 2 driving mario cart sit down arcade games one broken and the other intermittent, we only were able to get 1 out of 3 games in. The bar tender said the sit down arcade game was hit or miss, then she had the audacity to get mad that we wanted a few bucks back even after we pumped about $35 in all the machines. They did have several tables that had Nintendo 64 with only Mario cart playing, I was like, but we came for the pinball machines. Last, we ordered food, mozzarella sticks with marinara and the marinara was 3/4 frozen, my 10yr old had a well well well done dried out cheeseburger that he only ate half (how do you screw up cooking a patty?), and the only good food was the fries. They need to get their photos and establishment descriptions updated and use a darn thermometer on the burgers to know when the burger is done cooking. Would NOT recommend this place at all.

So much fun! But I had a hard time understanding the bartenders. They only meowed at me. Maya and Raquel are the best bar tenders ever!

Best pickle shots in town…however, I’m confused, where’d all the pickles go???
Maya and Raquel make it themselves!

Cool place. Short guy in the very tight shirt needs to chill. Shoved me out of the way from the food window and yelled in my face as I was picking up my food and talking to the other employee.

I really want to like this place for the close proximity - but I am continually disappointed. The food is so in consistent. One time is't great, the next it's bad. Last time I had a great burger on a stale, ice cold bun. Every burger lover knows that the bun is just as important as the meat. The fries have such potential to be great, and one time they where, but last time they were so undercooked and not seasoned at all. I had to dump salt on them. I also hate having to order at the bar.
The real kicker is the loud music. Can someone please explain to me why the need to blast music on a weekday lunch? I often have business lunch meetings and it is impossible to hear people talk. I get that the music louder in the evening, but over lunch? I can't help but wonder how much more business they would get if they thought about the neighborhood demographic and not the bartenders.

I have been coming here for years. From crawfish boils with the bayou boys to a fun night with my lady to play some games and have a laugh. Tonight really got me because I had a great time. There is a new bartender Adam who was on his second day out of training by himself. This guy got slammed on a random Tuesday and totally crushed the game. I have been in restaurants for over 30 years and I was stoked to see this guy making it all happen just out of the gate. Cheers to you monkey barrel! Keep crushing y'all. Can't wait to come back for some future fun times. The only thing I'm bummed about is that there are less pinball machines than there were before.

Nice sized outdoor space but inside is a little small. Service was good, considering there were only two bartenders a day a food runner. Food was pretty good, you order at the bar and they bring your food to the table for you, but no actual table service. Need another drink? Napkins? Ketchup? You’re going back and waiting at the bar for someone to help you. service was friendly and the patio allows dogs, so thats always a bonus in my book! Two drinks per person and two entrees were around $60, so not super expensive, but not exactly cheap, either.

Seems like a good neighborhood bar, and i love the games available. Would be fun to bring the kids during earlier hours.
