Great food and drink. One of the few breakfast places you can make a reservation, which was helpful when temperatures were in the teens and we did not want to wait outside for an hour. Enjoyed everything and will return.
We had the most amazing experience at The Original. It was our birthday and my sister and I went to enjoy breakfast. We had the most genuine, kind server name Teej and he made the whole experience just absolutely amazing. The management and Teej were so sweet to us and just made us feel so so special. And then on top, the food was so tasty and flavorful. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone to go enjoy food and the wonderful service here!
Georgia was our server and she was great! The drinks and food were delicious, portions were large and everything was timed perfectly for an enjoyable brunch. We will be back! We love this place and can walk to it!!!
Wait staff in the bar area was awesome! Ray and Teich was very knowledgeable about the menu and steered us in great choices. Would definitely recommend to friends and family when in the Denver area.
Legit all the way around for brunch. Good drinks and every dish was... “try a bite of this!”
This is our second time being here. We usually stop here when we're in Denver. Great food great service drinks are delicious as well.
Staff was very friendly from the hostess to the wait person. The menu had something for vegetarians, brunch lovers, and lunch lovers. I especially liked the Non alcoholic drink menu, my friend enjoyed her Bloody Mary. The music was loud, but I was able to carry on a conversation.
We were seated quickly and the staff was so nice. Food came out in appropriate timing and the coffee was delicious. Serving sizes here are decently large and worth the price. I highly recommend!
Jeremy took such great care of us. Everything was delicious. Jeremy recommended the corn dogs, which were sausages fried in pancake batter and they were incredible. Perfect place to bring family. The menu was so versatile and delicious!
Had a great time, service was wonderful. It was a little little loud in there, and the drinks are a bit overpriced.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Review for Ray D. at The Original – Denver, CO
My family and I flew in from Houston for a Thanksgiving week getaway, and after hearing great things about The Original, we decided to try it out. Let me just say—we were not disappointed!
Our server, Ray D., was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The food was phenomenal—everything came out fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared.
Ray D. truly made our dining experience memorable, and we highly recommend him and this restaurant to anyone visiting Denver. If you’re looking for great service and amazing food, this is the place to be. Five stars from me and my family

Raven was awesome
I've come here a handful of times now, and it's always been pretty tasty. This most recent visit was for my friend's birthday, and we all (party of six) decided to do the mimosas. Four of us had already been there for a few hours when the other two arrived after church, and they ordered mimosas as well.
That's when things got a little annoying. The mimosas are charged by the bottle, and instead of just letting us pour the champagne ourselves, our waiter insisted on doing all the refills. I get that he might've been trying to give good service, but he ended up using nearly an entire bottle to fill just two cups when the other four of us barely had anything left. It felt like we were being pushed into buying more bottles than we actually needed, which was frustrating.
That said, they did give us a complimentary bottle for my friend's birthday, which I really appreciated. And even though we stayed pretty close to closing time, the service stayed upbeat and attentive, which doesn't always happen at restaurants when it gets late.
The vibe is honestly one of my favorite parts of this place. It's a fun, casual, nostalgic mix of classic American diner energy and elegant railway dining cars, all with a modern twist. It feels warm, welcoming, and just easy to hang out in, perfect for brunch, birthdays, or just a cute meal with friends.
Despite the hiccup with the mimosas, the food was good as always, and the atmosphere makes it a spot I'll keep coming back to.

Food was absolutely delicious!! I got the chorizo hash and it was amazing. Someone else in our group got the Smothered burrito and the size was gigantic but it was so amazing. In general all the drinks were amazing and I was shocked that I liked the Brewmosa. Despite it being extremely busy the service was fast and our server was extremely great! So recommend going here for breakfast or brunch!

Love the old school diner vibe with the booths and retro chairs. Brunch was amazing. I tried the short rib eggs Benedict and a side of French toast. Super friendly service.
