The food was really good and the service even better. Unfortunately, some items that were labeled GF were fried in the same fryer as other non-GF items. This limited what I could try and was disappointing. I would recommend for friends not worried about eating GF. The service by all we interacted with was fantastic!

Our server, Sean, was friendly and accommodating, bringing coffee and water refills without us needing to ask! The Brisket Bennies on latkes that 4 of us ordered got a big thumbs up - delicious. We were having a mini family reunion, so the restaurant graciously let us stay at our table until we were talked out!

This was the first time eating at The Pig & The Sprout, and will definitely be returning! Great menu for meat, eaters, and vegetarians! The jalapeño cheese tamales were excellent! Nick was our server, one of the best waiters we have ever had! Thank you for a wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back!

Great first stop in Denver for a bite to eat and cool vibe to start the vacation. Dave was a friendly bartender and we will definitely go back for the broccoli before we leave! Would recommend. And yes, the chicken tacos are HOT. Delicious. But. Hot 😊

Pig and Sprout has a great gluten free menu (including wings) which is so important for my husband who has celiac disease. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about what could be made gluten free. Everything was delicious as well.

This is all about the 4% surcharge for a livable wage for the kitchen staff. This surprise addition to the bill, really took away from the otherwise pleasant experience at your restaurant. There may have been some mention about this on the menu but it's absolutely not clear, otherwise I would have opted to go elsewhere. To be clear, it is NOT about the bottom line of the bill, it's about the surcharges in general and about how it is implemented. You say it's optional, well most folks would not have it removed, either they don't want to deal with it, feel shamed into paying it, or whatever the reason may be. Be upfront about it, pay YOUR employees a living wage, and charge for your meals accordingly. The food was good, the wait staff was excellent, super nice and competent, and the place feels nice.

I would really love to give Pig & Sprout 5 stars. It has been my favorite brunch and dinner food near Union. The patio and upstairs are an absolute vibe. It also has excellent variety of food on a compact menu that can feed even those with the strictest diets. The one issue I’ve ran into on the 10+ times I have been here has been service. When it’s good - it is okay, when it’s bad - you question walking out. It is hard. I recommend this place to everyone, but at the same time have to warn them about the service. Will I continue to recommend this place to everyone I know? 100% Will I continue to come here? 100% If the service steps up, I will update this and call everyone I know and tell them to go to The Pig & The Sprout ASAP

Service was fab, as was the atmosphere. I got a salad and added chicken - and I’m telling you - they must’ve boiled it and chopped because there was not a single ounce of seasoning and it was covered in flabby fat. 😭
