Pioneer has the best bartenders around. Brian taught me how to successfully invest in the stock market and now Iâm a millionaire; Eva lovingly and willingly hand-feeds me tacos because I was born without arms; Bret (with only one T) lets me win at putputt (with two Ts) every time; Jason personally saved my entire family from a burning building (that he set on fire); and Hailey is just crazy hot. Highly recommend!

Jason hand delivered my first child when my water broke on Taco Tuesday. Funny enough, it turns out it was actually Wing Wednesday, but he honored the taco Tuesday deal anyways. Pregnancy brain amiright?! Anyways, I named my baby Pioneer and I hope one day he can become a great and stylish bar tender like Jason. Olive Garden has nothing on Pio, because when youâre there youâre family. Lil Pioâs first words were âdraft margaritaâ! I couldnât be more proud.

Started coming here a couple of months ago. Staff is always attentive and fun! The food is delicious and comes out quickly. When I come here, the GM Kerry is pleasant and remembers me and says hello. Feels like a good spot to call home.

I had an amazing time! Brian (Bryan?) the bartender was extremely sweet to me and my group! He even started calling my friend by their preferred name after figuring out it was different from their legal one, which is a step most people don't take and was definitely appreciated by all of us. Even though we were here until close, the staff was courteous and professional. Out of all the college bars in this area, this is one I'm not worried about underclassman infiltrating XD Also, their cocktails were delicious

I'd give 10 stars if I could! I've been in town for a barbershop harmony society conference this week on the campus of DU. Campus rules stated no singing after 10 PM which is a travesty for barbershoppers but The Pioneer stepped up and committed to staying open until 2 AM every night that we were in town so that we would have a place to gather and sing together. The drinks were great and the food was amazing (definitely recommend the nachos). And even when they were completely packed with people they were able to make drinks quickly and accurately. An all around great atmosphere and a wonderful business to go out of their way to accommodate us.

Busy! Great management and nice folks. We had a beer and a carnita quesadilla. It was quite good. You can even carve your name on the bar top. We'll, I'm not sure, but it was pretty carved up. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my carving tool. But we'll be back soon (ominous scratching going on....). ?
