Fries cauliflower was exceptional Brussel sprouts were room temp / soggy Fried chicken was a mixed bag - leg and thighs were delicious, breast was dry Chicken tenders were over breaded and dry/stringy. I think we caught service at a bad time - items were forgotten / wrong drinks sent Overall underwhelming...but...super busy so I assume we caught them on a bad day
Enjoyed the CBLT sandwich, Chicken Tenders and the mac and cheese, both regular and green Chile. Staff was excellent.
The food was ok, is all I can say. I was excited to try the different take on huevos ranchers, chicken huevos rancheros, and it was ok. The chicken was overcooked, which overshadowed the rest of the dish. Huge portion. The breakfast burrito was given the same rating while the biscuit came up short. Although we did like the deviled eggs.
So yummy every time! Brought 4 friends for their first time visit, and all 4 were so complimentary of the food and the fun! We all especially loved the mac n cheese with chilis and of course, the chicken! The coleslaw is also scrumptious, as was the sparkling rose. I can't wait to go back.
Love our local Post restaurant. Perfect place to take the fam. Love the wings with dry rub, Post salad and a biscuit
Food is very good, but they no longer offer bottomless drinks for brunch service. The espresso martini had 0 espresso in it, didn't even taste like an espresso martini to be fair. They only had one poor server running around for a significant amount of tables, and you could tell they were overwhelmed and flustered.
Good food - good service - casual atmosphere. We had one senior in our group and staff was very accommodating and patient. Second Time here for brunch - recommend! Best fried chicken I've had in Denver...not greasy-tender cooked through chicken and crispy skin! Recommend waffle and chicken! Make Reservation for Sunday brunch - this is a popular spot!
There's no other place to go if you're in the mood for crispy and juicy fried chicken. The Warmer Winds IPA that they brew is delicious.
We had a great server. We got a table by the window. The food was delicious! And, the biscuits are AMAZING!
Our first time to The Post. I had read online that they had some of the best Fried Chicken in Denver. We went out for Mothers Day and wanted to try something new for us. The Fried Chicken was well seasoned, fresh and juicy. My Son had the Salmon and my Daughter had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Definitely be back!

Delicious food - Buffalo wings are seasoned perfectly and meaty. Biscuits are a perfect starter and fried chicken is the best ever - well seasoned and fried crispy. Our server, Michael was very attentive and patient with us. Definitely go back again!
Have ALWAYS LOVED THIS PLACE but was very disappointed last night. Fish special was good but Cole slaw was tasteless, French fries were cold and limp when we asked them to be crisp and hot. Had to ask MULTIPLE SERVERS MULTIPLE times for lemon for the fish. Fish was cold by then. The Ketsup they use is second rate and you can tell. I asked for an entree salad. Do not know why the dressing was not mixed in. Gave me a tiny side of dressing. Not the usual dressing. Waiter said they changed the dressing. Unfortunate. Asked for Sangria. Told they didn't have it. Saw it on the menu. Took 10 minutes to tell me I could only get it in a pitcher. Just an unfortunate evening
Amiable service with the option to wait for a table by sitting at the bar. The bar was across from the kitchen. So we decided to stay at there - was fun to see the dishes being delivered. The brussel sprouts are delicious. Huge chicken tenders. Beer service excellent :) A great find for weary travellers.
The food here is amazing. Servers are great! If you love fried chicken it's the best in south Denver. Staff treats you like friends Try it!!
My matchmaking company, Denver's Cupid, made a BLIND DATE reservation for two Sunday, February 23rd, 11am at Post Chicken & Beer Rosedale -- and when our two clients arrived, there was a closed sign due to maintenance -- THE NIGHT BEFORE. We continue to be highly upset as this snafu could have been avoided with a basic, courteous email to all existing reservations. This experience was bad and unprofessional.
