The service was attentive and the food was flavorful and plentiful. The cheddar biscuits are recommended.
Was in the mood for some good fried chicken. The Post never disappoints. Paired the 1/2 chicken dinner with their freshly tapped Octoberfest draught. Oh, you have to get the collard greens cooked with bacon, they are amazing.
The Post NEVER misses. Fresh chicken, fresh fries, in-house sauces. I literally tell everyone about this place. There’s wide varieties for everyone too. Great prices - great food.

We stopped in Denver and decided to try The Post after seeing recommendations online and solid Google reviews. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.
The service was subpar right from the start. After being seated, we had to ask more than twice through another server just to get our own server to take the order. When the server finally came over, they turned out to be one of the most unfriendly servers I’ve encountered in the States. They were slow with everything—taking the order, bringing out food, and even getting the check. On top of that, the server seemed visibly annoyed more than once while serving. Maybe it was just a bad day, but it set the tone for the rest of the meal.
Sadly, the chicken was no better. The exterior was overcooked with a weird oily taste, and the family meal we ordered had more than half of the pieces so over-fried that they were extremely dry. On top of that, most were overly seasoned to the point of being unpleasant. The food was so bad that we didn’t even bother taking photos—something we almost always do when trying new restaurants. It was expensive, but the quality was so poor that we honestly struggled to finish the food because of how bad and salty it was.
The sides didn’t redeem things either. The fries were overly seasoned, the biscuits were forgettable, and only the mashed potatoes were passable.
Overall, this was overpriced, over-seasoned, over-fried food paired with subpar service. We will not visit again and would caution others to think twice before giving The Post a try—unless overpriced, salty food and unfriendly service is your thing.

My husband and I came in on a Monday, and since it wasn’t busy, we sat at the bar. Holden took care of us, and he was wonderful- friendly, attentive, and personable. I was especially impressed with his memory; we had a fairly large order, and he remembered every detail, right down to the lemon! His service really made our experience enjoyable.

1st dine in at Rosedale location. Immediately greeted by very cordial young lady (greeter/mgr) I think. She was kind enough to check on us after we were seated. Joel served us w the utmost efficiency and friendliness. Wings, sammy, mac&cheese and orange chicken salad were on point. The French fries had no crisp or snap at all. We will revisit soon to try more items on the menu. Go early!

I liked the food, price could've been better for the portions you get.
NO DOGS ALLOWED. How dumb, especially in Colorado. The servers who understood and had to bring the bad news are commended. They were very nice. But seriously, are the owners aware of Colorado being VERY DOG FRIENDLY.

Their prices were pretty high, beyond that sitting at the bar I heard not one, but three servers complain about their customers. I've never left a restaurant before feeling like the enemy. I was ignored when I made requests and definitely felt like the after thought. I would recommend skipping them entirely. I won't be back. Being served isoteric beers and over priced food from ungrateful staff doesn't sound like how I want to spend my money or time.... If there is a new standard of poor service they didn't even hit that. My uncle is a food critic and I may send him there just to see what he writes about the experience... At your own risk is what I'd tell you about going there.

The up charge for dark meat instead of a breast with the chicken and waffles is a little unreasonable since white meat is so expensive and dark meat so cheap. I was charged the same for the order as if I would have ordered a leg and thigh a la cart and they just kept the breast I was charged for that should have came with what I paid. The food is good as long as it's early in the day or right after they filter/change the oil. I am not sure what kind of oil they use but if you go in the last two hours there is a good chance the fried food will taste burnt even though it cooked to proper temperature. Lastly, I am not sure what person thought it would be a good idea to make it a policy to short change your customers, but you cost your togo hostess a tip. Hopefully she at least got what your establishment short changed me.
