I picked up breakfast for my daughter here today and it was a hip spot and the server was great. She took time out to talk with my son and show off her rock since my son had a rock to show her.
No idea how the food was I had already eaten. Neighborhood was a good walk, probably a good meal and a short stroll would be an exceptional time.

Read about this place on Reddit when looking for some breakfast recommendations while visiting Denver so we decided to check it out. Wow, was this place fantastic! We were seated right away and our server greeted us promptly. We ordered and our food came pretty quickly. I had the tomato and bacon skillet and then tried the banana walnut pancake on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! Definitely one of my top breakfast places I’ve visited. Highly recommend this place!

This place has delicious food and grits and biscuits highly recommend.
Eggs Benedict were phenomenal. Excellent coffee as well. I didn’t love the pancakes but that was a personal taste thing. Everything else was perfect and I highly recommend eating here.

Food was amazingly good! Custard toast was the headliner, you are missing out if you leave without it. Blueberry pancakes also very good.
We sat outside and the server seemed too busy to be able to fill our water up a second time, but to be fair, it was Sunday morning and they were busy.
Parking: if you come during weekend brunch, it may be hard to find a spot. They are in a strip mall so there is parking, but the other businesses don't want you to park in their spots.

What a great place. Went there eight years ago while traveling, and have thought about the dish I had ever since. Revisited last week. Was just as good as I remember. Trust me, order the pork green chili and grits, and thank me later. Quite the testament to The Universal that they’re still there, and still have the same dish on the menu. Keep up the good work!
