Read about this place on Reddit when looking for some breakfast recommendations while visiting Denver so we decided to check it out. Wow, was this place fantastic! We were seated right away and our server greeted us promptly. We ordered and our food came pretty quickly. I had the tomato and bacon skillet and then tried the banana walnut pancake on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! Definitely one of my top breakfast places I’ve visited. Highly recommend...
We found The Universal over a year ago and it has been our go to breakfast place. Great food, great service! Extra points for the gluten free pancake that makes us question if we got the gluten free version every time.

No idea how the food was I had already eaten. Neighborhood was a good walk, probably a good meal and a short stroll would be an exceptional time.
