We went for our 2 year anniversary and it was an amazing experience to be dining with the Velvet Cellar and their staff. Champagne and a congratulatory card at our table upon arrival made us feel welcomed and cared for. Our waitress was very attentive and explained everything to us. We had the charcuterie board to start and followed with the Miso Salmon and Shrimp and Grits which were very flavorful. Service was was friendly but the food was mediocre at best. Everything was pretty under seasoned. The steak was well cooked but the “farmhouse chicken” was a tiny dry chicken cutlet and there was really no sign of the flavors the menu described. The highlight was a burrata salad which is a bit unfortunate at this price point.
