Excellent service and incredible drinks. They make their own syrups and everything is very reasonably priced, especially for the area. I didn't eat, but they have plenty of vegan options. The atmosphere is cozy with cute decor and comfortable couches. The baristas are friendly and helpful.

Weathervane is a GEM! Incredible coffee, pastries (you have to try the Earl Grey Tea Cake from Lil Bergamot), breakfast burritos, music and vibes. Great spot for last minute gifts also!

Came across this place today and had a terrific pineapple matcha along with vegan carrot oatmeal.
Both of them were amazing, especially the oatmeal which had a generous portion mixed in with oat milk and other spices and flavors. It was great!
Looking forward to going back there sometime.

One of the best coffee I've ever had! Absolutely loved the flavors in the "Happy camper" latte.
So quaint and cozy! Very delicious drinks - my personal favorite is the golden milk latte, made dirty.
The food is so much better than your run of the mill cafe fare!

Cozy cafe on 17th between Gilpin and Williams in Uptown, feels like traveling back in time to grandma's house in the best way. Simple but satisfying menu. Try their cappuccino with a breakfast sandwich - eggs and cheese on focaccia, served on real dishes with wooden utensils. Pastries sometimes available, decent vegan options. Tables and chairs in the entry, an upstairs room, and a large outside seating area. Music playing during my visit included The Cranberries and Portishead. The baristas here are definitely a social hub of the neighborhood, everyone gets chatted up..most weekday traffic seems to be online orders, but still a great place for people watching.

The best neighborhood coffee shop. I have been going here for years and it’s like being in your cool grandmas cozy little cottage.

This is my favorite coffee shop. It is so cute inside and out. The staff are all lovely. The food is amazing with an excellent vegetarian option as well. The drinks are wonderful too. When Weathervane was first recommended to me, it was suggested that I try their signature drink "The Happy Camper". I did on my first visit. It is absolutely delightful. However, over the years, my favorite has become the Cambric Tea made with Lavender Black tea. Recently I tried the Pumpkin Latte and it, too, was delicious.
Food items to note: the Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich, Chickpea Wrap, Breakfast Burrito, currently the Apple Butter Crunch Parfait is to die for. In the past, they've had monster cinnamon rolls with a dollop of cream cheese frosting. I can only eat about half of that in one sitting. Their oats options - perfection (Carrot Cake and Ginger Fig both great!) I forgot about the Pumpkin Chia Pudding! Also wonderful. Seriously all of their food is amazing and it's hard to decide each visit.
I like that they partner with other small businesses too. In the past they've worked with Bubby Goober's which unfortunately is closed now but more recently Pandemic Donuts has been on their menu. Speaking of Pandemics, when they had to shut down during COVID, they packaged their food items in to go meal kits for purchase so that all of their most recent stock of goods didn't go bad. To this day, making the Coconut Curry Quinoa Stew is one of my favorite dishes to make on a chilly fall day or snowy winter day. It was a cool way to stay connected to a favorite spot even while they were closed. As soon as they were able to open again (and did so conservatively), they had the option to rent out their upstairs sitting are for a very small group. The cost was ridiculously low but I was so eager to get back, I rented it for myself and three friends to sit and chat about books over a coffee.
They always think about their customers. As a somewhat neurospicy person, I appreciate that I don't have to approach the counter every time I visit. I can order online and select that my order is "For Here". It greatly reduces my anxiety. But when I do interact with staff, they are always so lovely, kind and welcoming. I also just enjoy listening to them interact with each other. Always so happy. I really appreciate this inclusive, considerate space.
The aesthetic of it all is so warm.
They also have a cool product section. I've purchased a flower print and a mason jar cozy in the past.
Parking: I've never encountered a time when I couldn't find a spot nearby on the street to park.
