The rice is crunchy and undercooked, the peas are undercooked too. But the fish is overcooked and dry — the sushi tastes bad. Just an atmosphere looks good.

I come here pretty often for my lunch and have never had an issue until today. I paid the extra $1.50 to add avocado and this is what they gave me. If we have to pay extra for an add on, it should be fresh or else it’s just a waste of money.

This Tokyo Joes location is 10 out of 10… the service is always amazing, food is fresh and on point, and the atmosphere is clean and upbeat. I have lunch here several times per week and I don’t know how they are able to be so amazing so consistently! Also their prices have not gone up like the rest of the food choices in the mall. This also means a lot and is why I will continue being a loyal customer.

They are short staffed and taking 15 minutes to prepare food. My steak was overcooked and dry. It was obviously cooked and sitting under a heat lamp for sometime . It would have been better for them to make it fresh and help me wait a few minutes more.

Lots of options for a build your own vegan bowl. Tofu is available for protein and then lots of vegan sauces and ingredients to choose from. The menu clearly labels which sauces and ingredients are vegan.

We have never tried Tokyo Joe's before and just because it was at a convenient location(in the food court of the Mall) we decided to give them a try.
The staff was patient and friendly but the issue is the food.
We ordered the wild salmon large bowl, beef bowl and chicken bentos for kids.
My salmon tasted like cardboard with a fishy stink. The fish instead of looking like a fish appeared like a flat compressed sheet of fish with some grill marks.
Was expecting juicy, flaky moist piece of fish.
Same with kids chicken, dry and powdery.
We couldn't even finish our meals.
Sorry I wouldn't recommend or burn my money here ever again.
