The service was absolutely terrible. We waiting nearly 35 minutes for our first drink and our waiter only came back to the table once during our two hour stay. The manager ended up stepping in to assist and was very nice but for a $80 pp brunch, it was a terrible experience

For my last meal in Denver, I had high hopes for an exceptional dining experience, drawn in by the promise of innovative fusion cuisine. But my expectations were dashed as the evening progressed. While our arrival during happy hour was promising, it went down fast. Although I understand the need for ID checks, the inconsistency in carding other guests made the experience uncomfortable. For instance, while we were carded, a neighboring table later during service came to celebrate a birthday, I overheard that they were there for a birthday celebration for someone who were younger than us and did not see them get carded. Despite this hiccup, the variety of happy hour snacks and impeccable starters such as the Aguachile, guacamole, and tacos were delightful. However, there were some lapses, like the delayed fish dip that was put on hold and came after we finished the rest of the other snacks. The attention to detail waned as the serivced progressed. My guests enjoyed their entrees and I was full with the starters so I wanted to really appreciate the rest of the meal at home however the next action took me out of the experience. Rather than offering them to pack it up an unceremonious presentation of a to-go box at the table for my leftovers, detracted me from the fine/casual dining atmosphere. I started to notice the small details afterwards. Slow table clearing of empty bottles, plates and I was never asked if I wanted any other drink through the rest of service. Dessert, while visually impressive at first, fell short with a chocolate ball being shattered and pieces flying out the table and onto my guests and I. The delay in bringing the check was noticeable, as I had to ask for it twice. Sorry but I was already mentally checked out due to the lack of hospitality. Overall, the food, especially the starters, snacks, and sushi, truly complemented the restaurant's idea of its fusion cuisine, the rest of the service didn't live up. Don't think I'm coming again.

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Toro. Our server Jess was amazing, and the rest of the staff was truly lovely (Carly, Kerry, Grace, Ryan) and very helpful. Would recommend 10/10!

We ate here for Denver Redtsurant week had a better meal than we expected. The food was interesting and tasty. Loved the Latin skirt steak with the chimichurra sauce on top. The Mercado Margarita was SO delicious. Never had anything quite as good !!!

Great date night ambiance. Not too loud that we couldn't talk, which was nice. Food and drinks were fantastic. I loved that their menu specified which items had gluten or dairy. It also specified vegan and vegetarian options.

Went to Toro with m daughter and her husband. The drinks were great, with lots of spiciness. The food was very creative with great latin flavors. Loved the dessert as well. It was an excellent overall meal!

Booked a table for Valentines Day and it was INCREDIBLE. We were greeted and given a rose before we sat. I opted in for the special menu which consisted of a choice of appetizer, a palate cleanser, entree, and dessert. I chose Zucchini Tiradito for my appetizer which consisted of a cucumber aguachile, spicy pumpkin seeds, roasted garlic, and cilantro. It was plated beautifully and felt very refreshing to prepare for the other plates ahead. Following the appetizer was a palate cleanser of Apaixonado. I truthfully am not big into coconut but the passionfruit sorbet, spiced rum, and coconut milk all paired very well together. It was a nice lead up to the entree, which was the pan-seared scallops. It sat ontop of a corn purée made of pepita-rosemary butter and lemongrass-scallop broth. The dessert I chose was Mi Dulce Amor. This was crispy brioche with lychee foam, and amaretto. Strawberry sorbet was on the side. All in all everything went together incredibly well. Special attention was paid to the selections which shows. When I'm back in Colorado I absolutely will find my way here again!

Haute cuisine Mexican. Lobster quesadillas were outstanding. Curry squash soup was delightful. Drinks reasonably priced. Service was attentive and friendly. Fine dinner. A bit loud, but Denver likes the vibe.

Went to Toronfor a midweek dinner and catch up With a friend. We shared a ceviche, burrata salad and a sushi roll. I always order the ceviche and absolutely love it because it's the closest to authentic in Denver. This time however it wasn't great fish was a little fishy.. but everything else around the fish was amazing as always. The food is always good there. But the service this time wasn't great. Our waiter wasn't very available or attentive. This is my fifth time going to Toro.. I love it. But this time it didn't have its sparkle.

Toro has phenomenal brunch, enjoy bottomless brunch and cocktails or purchase food a la carte. Either way, the food, service and atmosphere are awesome! We both enjoyed the delicious churrasco & eggs with a mimosa! The music adds a special touch to the vibe.

The food was creative and great flavor, the drinks were great! The strawberry creme brulee was half the depth of the last time we were there, and it was freezing with a significant draft. But as the temps were below 0, that is likely force majur and not truly their fault! We will go again, but after the weather isn't ridiculous. ;-)

The food is always quality at Toro's! And for the quality of the food you get, the prices are pretty reasonable. Last night we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. Steve (I believe that is his name), went above & beyond to make our celebration exceptional! Cheers to him! Appreciate you Steve!

We walked in to extremely loud music, and were seated right in the bar. The hostess was kind enough to move us, and the music was eventually turned down. Our server was delightful, and the food, as always, was great. PS -Do Open Table patrons get seated in worst possible seats by restaurants? That's been our experience.

The food was great, the service was lacking, some of our food was brought out 15 minutes before other food for the table was brought out. Didn't explain why, just kept it moving. Never offered us refills of water, coffee, or if we wanted another drink. Did not check in at all. Then dropped the bill and said, “I am busy, so I will just drop this off for you”. I am disappointed because we heard great things about this place. Oh well, it's off the list of places to go. Overall we really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Cool place, just don't expect great service.
