This was my first time at Torpedo. Great to see a place that welcomes families. There were people sitting outside on the patio enjoying their food and drink as their little ones played. I walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile by Kat who took my order right away. My Veg Burrito was delicious and the Dirty Iced Chai Sweetened was on point. I will be making this my new coffee spot. I will be recommending it to others!!!

Kid-friendliness: Great family spot on patio.

My friend and I stopped at this coffee shop this morning for coffee and food and the young lady at the register did everything to ignore us, even when I said good morning as I walked up to the register no response. She wouldn't even acknowledge that I was standing in front of her waiting for her to take me and my friends order, when it became pretty apparent that she was not in anyway shape or form in a hurry to take me and my friends order I walked right past my friend and told her lets go and told her when we got outside that I was not going to waste my money at a place where people are conducting themselves like that my friend and I went to another coffee shop that was about 5 minutes from Torpedos and the moment my friend and I walked in to the other coffee shop we were greeted immediately and was told by one of the employees we will be with you in a moment' and THAT IS HOW YOU RUN CONDUCT A BUSINESS. I don't know if the young lady was a racist because me and my friend are African American but whatever her problem was we won't be supporting an establishment like that.

Love this place and visit frequently! Neighborhood wouldn’t be the same without it. Kat’s the best!

Not a destination coffee shop, but quite good if you're in the neighborhood. The usual array of espresso based drinks. The latte was large and good. They have breakfast and snacks.

Service was friendly and efficient. They made a point to thank me when I was leaving. The space has a lot of art on the walls, but not much that interested me. Seating was adequate. They do have customer Wi-Fi.

It's likely that the parking lot will be full during peal periods, but on street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. I ended up roughly a block away during the lunch rush.

I hold a weekly meeting here at 1pm until 2pm. After arriving today (February 18) and ordering our drinks we were told that they were closing early at 1:30 due to lack of business (there were five other people there). This caused us to waste precious time in finding a new location. The service and attitude from todays barista was incredibly arrogant. (The normal two gentlemen are lovely). Also, the tea and food are way overpriced. Due to the attitude of the employee today I will never return. Sometimes it's worth it to keep your opening hours to keep customers. Guess we can take our money elsewhere.

Parking: Lots of parking

The service cannot be beat. Kat creates the most welcoming coffee shop in town, where everyone feels like a friend. The staff know your regular drink and your name, something that rarely happens nowadays. Their breakfast burrito is also delicious, with an awesome hot sauce (available for purchase!). Please visit this wonderful neighborhood spot.

Kid-friendliness: Great with kiddos, they know their names!

Best local coffee by far. I am so upset I hadn't tried more of them sooner and before I've exhausted the other local establishments. The only thing is they should definitely turn off the ability to order online before they close. We ordered online today and didn't realize they closed at 2pm (wish they stayed open later!) the online ordering let us order for pick up at 2pm. My spouse got to the shop and it was closed! Luckily a helpful employee saw my husband and made the drinks for us 😀

My go-to coffee shop in Park Hill. Always good coffee, a nice spot to sit with your computer for a bit, and the best people.

Dietary restrictions: They have lots of vegan options.

Cute little place with fun art on the walls and different fun drinks. Reasonable prices! Can’t say I liked my golden milk latte, didn’t taste any of the spices and it was almost sweet. But I’ve gotten other coffee here before that I’ve enjoyed more.

Food and coffee were delicious but one of the staff was extremely rude as soon as we walked in. Would not return unless someone else helps us.

This was my first time going to this coffee shop and I will likely never come back. The girl with orange curly hair and glasses has a serious attitude problem. There was noone else there in line or anywhere near and she was really impatient about me browsing the menu that is hand written on chalkboard. Then rushed me as she was taking the order with the most flat affect ever. She asked a name for the order and then she said another name, I have a hispanic name, it felt like a micro agression. The whole experience was super uncomfortable and I felt really out of place. It felt like this girl really resented having to serve me for whatever reason. I literally walked and and said hi and she immediately upon looking at me approached our interaction with an attitude and a tinge of disdain. Was not expecting that on this calm Saturday morning. I was having a great day up until then. I order an iced coconut latte with a vegan breakfast burrito and the burrito was good but the latte tasted like coffee and milk no coconut or even vanilla flavor, and I don't think they made it properly. Anyway this is why I rated it this place poorly, because I had a negative experience and cannot recommend anyone to come here.
