Was in town for the weekend for cu buffs and Denver broncos tbh. I heard from someone about this place so I decided to check it out. I like restraunts on colfax or federal. Lot of good places I’ve found on there. The chips and salsa was pretty good the salsa was different. It was green and stuff but still pretty good. I ordered a combination with a burrito , enchalada rice and beans and a tamale. I liked it all except the tamale. I don’t think I’m a tamale fan. Just wasn’t good to me. The texture is wierd. But I love everything else. The desert was also good with the ice cream and churros. I’d go back. Solid food. Staff was nice. Food was good. Fun place.

SO AMAZING! I got just a slice of cake today with cheesecake filling and fruit on top. It was perfect for the hot day. They also have traditional Mexican pastries like conchas and flan. I can’t wait to go back to this place before I go home to New York!

El pan está riquísimo, mi hija fué de vacaciones a Denver y me trajo hasta Athes GA pan de dulce porque me dijo que era el pan más rico que había probado y tenía toda la razón, el pan me encantó, sobre todo las conchas, los de mil hojas, los que tenían cajeta, bueno todos, jajaja ni a cuál irle de sabrosos!!! Y muchas gracias al dueño por las galletitas que me mandó, riquísimas también.

I love this place. The food was fresh and hot. I had the enchiladas. They were delicious. Authentic mexican food. It was worth the drive in traffic.
