Horrible service! We went Saturday night and, although the food was amazing, our server was downright rude and inattentive. We felt like he simply didn't want anything to do with us nor even wanted to be working that night. For example, he slapped down some water and bread and then we never saw him for a good 25 minutes after that. He was arrogant and we felt like we were bothering him with any request. Not sure we'd go back based on that experience even though the food was great.

Trattoria Stella delivers uniquely flavored Italian food in a quaint atmosphere. But let’s start with the service. It was slow at the beginning but picked up appropriately after about 10-15 minutes. The server was friendly and did a great job. I enjoyed the real roses on the tables and the smaller and cozy scale of the split level patio. The food was mixed. The noodles on the spaghetti bolognese were cooked al dente and the sauce tasted homemade. The flavor of the lasagna was interesting and different. It didn’t hit our flavor palette in a particularly positive way. Overall, it was good experience and I recommend it.

YUMMEH YUMMEH I think our waiters name was Brian? Some young kid with blonde hair. Super attentive. I loved the drinks and the pasta gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had. I’m slobbering just thinking about it.

I've only gotten the food to go. The pasta is authentic and made really well. Personally the place is soo small and tight close seating that my family would rather enjoy the amazing food at home. Still some of the best pasta in Denver!

The food was delicious. We had lasagna and the steak with gnocchi. I'd prefer warm bread to cold but it was still good. We were on the back patio at the bar and we barely got service. They were friendly but not present much. We waited quite a while for food, refills were never offered, and the server dropped the bill and walked away fast even though I called him to pay right away knowing how slow he'd be to return. I'd go back for the food but never sit at the back again. The service seemed much better in the front. They should consider painting a mural or something on the red wall since the atmosphere in the back is lacking compared to the front.

Was disappointed to order multiple appetizers, wine and 4 entrees between 4 adults and then be asked to leave by our waitress immediately after we paid the bill. We were at the table for exactly 1 hour and 9 minutes. I think you should be able to enjoy a table for 90 minutes when you had a reservation and are enjoying multiple courses. The food was ok although I would skip the Caesar salad as it is just lettuce, tomato’s, croutons, low quality cheese and sunflower seeds with dressing in a plastic cup - not tossed.
