As a southern girlie, their food offering is definitely headed in the right direction. The grits were fab, absolutely recommend. I also really loved the fried okra — it was crispy in the way fried okra should be. The chicken tenders were good, but I do not know that they represent true southern fried chicken. The sauce options were creative and plentiful. The banana pudding was pretty good too. Would eat here again but it’s not anything I would insist a visitor should visit while in town (I’m visiting lol)

Second visit, first time doing dinner and OMG was it awesome!! I think I really might have to show some restraint and will power or I might just be here daily!

We had a birthday celebration, great venue, nice brunch selection and the food was good. They also allowed seperate tickets. We were able to bring our own cake. Made the event enjoyable. Thank you

Chicken done right and a large menu of items to choose from. Everything is pretty much delicolious. Good drinks selection to pair with too. Service is very excellent. I will definitely go back if ever in Denver again.

A subpar service can significantly detract from the enjoyment of a good meal. From the host to the server, there was a noticeable lack of competence and organization, as they were attending to tables and patrons without proper order. The overall operations appeared to be lacking in efficiency. While the food was exceptional, I would recommend considering delivery for future meals.

I ordered takeout from Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar last night, and it was an absolute revelation. Everything – and I mean *everything* – was delicious.

We got the chicken finger family sampler, shrimp and grits, and pecan pie, along with fried okra, fried pickles, Brussels sprouts, and mac & cheese. As someone from Alabama, I can tell you this food genuinely brought back childhood memories. The flavors were spot-on authentic.

The chicken fingers were perfectly Southern-fried with that ideal crispy coating and juicy interior. The shrimp and grits couldn’t have been more authentic – creamy, perfectly seasoned grits with beautifully cooked shrimp. Every side dish held its own, from the tangy crunch of the fried pickles to the comforting richness of the mac & cheese.

What I especially appreciate is the restaurant’s namesake itself. For those unfamiliar, Tupelo honey comes from the white Ogeechee Tupelo trees that grow in the swamps of the Deep South, primarily in northwest Florida and southern Georgia. This rare, prized honey – which never crystallizes – has been treasured in Southern cuisine for generations. It’s a beautiful touch that the restaurant honors this connection, bringing a piece of authentic Southern heritage to Denver. Most people here probably don’t realize the significance, but it shows the care and authenticity behind everything Tupelo Honey does.

I picked up our order rather than dining in (I’m not huge on venturing into the city, but I do love trying new food!). The takeout was perfectly packaged and the food traveled beautifully. If you’re craving real Southern cooking in Denver, this is your place. Highly recommended.

This is one of the worst restaurants we have ever been to. Two of us ordered the steak and it had to be genetically engineered. It was an even small rectangle and it's texture with pure mush. It had no taste. There was absolutely no way that an authentic steak would be shaped that way or taste that way. No one else enjoyed their meals for various reasons. The chicken was quite dry. The portions Were extremely small. Very poor value very poor food.

What a great meal! We both had the Sriracha chicken sandwiches. Chicken was cooked just right and quite tasty. Parker was a great waiter!!!

One of my favorite spots in Denver! I love the fried green tomatoes and their chicken poblano soup. Our waitress was fantastic (and wearing the most adorable ghost themed shirt for the Halloween season.) I hope to return soon!
