Pretty bad fried chicken which they pride themselves on.
There was more fried bs than actual chicken.

don't go here for southern food, go to yardbird instead. tupelo honey's chicken was super dry, gravy was nothing but uncooked flour, and green tomatos were so thick they were uncooked, grits were bland. go to yardbird for real southern cooking!

It was definitely a get in, eat and get out feeling. But food was good and server was nice.

Had a take out order and waited in line at the host stand, once it was my turn, when I mentioned the order for pick up, the host said she'd check on it, only then to help the next three people in line before checking on my order or sending someone to check on it. Otherwise it was not busy here. It took 10 minutes once I asked about my order before I got any answer/follow up.
The food was great, but I'm not a fan of sweet greens. The appetizers were well portioned, and the brew list is nice.

Split the half chicken with sorghum sauce with my boyfriend. The service was impeccable, but some the thinner parts of the chicken were a bit dry. Dining area was light and airy, very pleasant. Some tables had a great view of Union Station train tracks.

Food was great to eat.. then 3AM food poisoning hit. Not sure if it was the chicken and waffles, the pimento cheese, or the fried green tomatoes. Too bad
The chicken was extremely dry, like inedible dry…. It was late and wasn’t gonna send it back…. It was terrible enough to review and will be hard to try Tupelo Honey again.

The service, vibe and atmosphere was very good. The food however, was bland. My husband and I are visiting from
Atlanta, and just trying out different restaurants. Tanner was our server and he was nice and kept us informed abt our food taking a little while to come out. A group seated before was extremely loud, but once they left, we really got to feel the vibe. The omelette was a small portion and it was evident the eggs weren’t seasoned before anything was put inside of it. The chicken was coated nicely. The skin looked very well seasoned….but it taste like nothing. U can see the pepper flakes, but some salt or garlic powder or seasoning salt would’ve given it some flavor. Overall, I would come for a drink, but I’d pass on the food. Tanner, thanks for the great service!

Recommended dishes: Tupelo Shrimp & Grits
Today I was craving shrimp and grits went on line to find the best in Denver came across Tupelo honey Cafe in Denver. It was the worse ever the grits was very greasy and salty very salty and the same goes for the fried pickles very very salty. I was not able to eat this food on top of the fact that I paid way touch money for this lunch. Way over price not worth my time parking or money. Very disappointed 😞
Got the Mac and cheese and the crispy potatoes. The Mac and cheese lacked cheese and flavor literally bread crumbs and noodles. The potatoes were good just way too salty, I couldn’t even finish them.
