Host acts clueless

We were on a layover in Denver and decided to try this place. The greeter was less than welcoming, but our server Brooklyn(?) was great. She told us about the $3 drink specials which were totally worth it. I had an omelet and potatoes. My food was delicious. I wished I had room for other items, but I needed the energy to go to our next spot. I will visit again.

Man the food was top notch. Ask for the secret menu banana creme brulee chicken and waffles you won't regret it. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often. We will be back our next visit I definitely did not need the syrup for this dish!

Super slow service. Everything took forever and then my omelet was overcooked and with no consistency with the ingredients. The worst omelet ever.

Their happy hour on the printed menu isn’t clear. It says whiskeys for $5 but when my bill came I was charged $15 per straight jack Daniels. Jack Daniels isn’t a high end whiskey so surprised why it’s not on happy hour. No one clarified for me and manager only gave $5 off. There goes the tip because I still paid $30 for drinks when it should’ve been $10. Location is good, parking a little tough.

Slow service at first. But improved. Clearly understaffed. Was ok for us, as we were not in a rush, but might be an issue if you have limited time for lunch.

The high marks are obviously not from the food

Shout out to the staff Bailey ,kats ,dezee ,tanner and the rest of the staff, all treated me like royalty and had superb warm welcoming energy. Now a round of applause for the chef and also the team in the kitchen. Every bite was filled magnificent perfection, I had ordered the avocado and egg toast (omg) i added soy sausage and it’s was perfect. The GOAT cheese grits (omg) again. The salad with cucumbers that comes with avocado platter was nice match . Super thanks TUPELO HONEY

The sweet and spicy chicken sandwich is to die for with the Siracha honey sauce. The service is not great. The coke is like when you put a fountain drink in your fridge overnight in a paper cup. We went 2 days in a row because the chicken was so good. First day, our waitress came back once and when she did, spilled water all over the table and just left it. I cleaned it my napkin. She didn't even say sorry. Next day we sat outside and the service was even worse. Never came back EVER. I had to go in and find her sitting at the bar. The guy at another table outside also had to go in to get them to come back out and check on us. Appalling service. But the chicken is sooo damn good, so that's why we went back.

Can't rave enough about this place!! As a southerner, first of all, best sweet tea in Denver!! Savannah our server was amazing!! The food is delicious!

The fried chicken was amazing! I also recommend the biscuits.

Get the sweet potato pancake; it was delicious! And the chorizo sausage was on point! This place does a great job of catering to all walks of life: families, couples, groups. The food was delicious and the beverages were creative and tasty; I will visit Tupelo Honey in other cities that I visit.
