We stopped into Ultreia around 3 PM for a few small bites, and it turned into one of the highlights of our day. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with a fun, welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. (Fun fact: Ultreia is a Spanish pilgrimage greeting that loosely means “onward” or “keep going,” often used along the Camino de Santiago to encourage fellow travelers.)

Every dish we tried was exceptional. The deviled eggs were completely unique — unlike any I’ve had before — and the bacon-wrapped dates were absolutely irresistible. The croquettes were perfectly crisp on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth creamy inside. Even the crispy seasoned fries with aioli were a hit with both the adults and the kids. And the sangria? Classic, refreshing, and exactly what you want with tapas.

If you’re in Denver near Union Station, Ultreia is a must-visit for great food, great energy, and a memorable experience.

I hate to give it that rating but unfortunately I have to. The food and service were excellent and the prices are also pretty decent. Unfortunately since this is kind of an open kitchen concept, our eyes were burning the entire time which made us feel uncomfortable and we couldn’t really enjoy the experience. The ventilation is bad there, our clothes were smelling so badly burned after we left we couldn’t even sit in the car with that smell. Had to wash everything immediately. Hair smelled terrible as well. Maybe put glass between the kitchen and seating area? Or better ventilation. Would have for sure came back if that was the case. Thank you

We came in as a party of three with no dinner reservations, day before Valentine's, and were seated at the bar. The staff was attentive and kind. We enjoyed two Spanish bottles of wine, and tapas that were incredible and fresh. The jamon sampler, the ham croquettes, shrimp toast, and the marinated olives and almonds... all fantastic. We also had the octopus and it was fork tender. I didnt take any pictures of the wines or food, because we enjoyed our time talking, eating, and drinking. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Been here 14 years which is saying something. Highly recommend the Jamon and Ribs but everything is good. Great prices at happy hour.....

Fantastic food. Wonderful service, very easygoing with a good sense of humor. We ate outside and were only diners (it was cold but they had heaters) so ambiance, noise etc ratings are not relevant.

Outstanding food. The bacon wrapped dates were the best I have ever had. It's a cute place, small and great atmosphere in Union Station. I am looking forward to going back. Excellent food.

Happy to have found a Spanish restaurant in Denver, located in the very welcoming train station. It was nice to take a beer + vermouth with REAL chistorra and croquetas (see pictures), as we would have done in any bar in Spain. We'll sure come back to test the full menu.

My spouse and I have had several special meals at Ultreia and it is consistently wonderful. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, excellent service. Highly recommend the Chef's Table - assortment of items to be shared. More than enough food for the two of us.
