It was all around great I got the cheeseburger and it was one of the best I have had. The salad which I shared with the table tasted amazing. It was all around perfect.

Walked in at 4:30 pm for happy hour, host asks if we have a reservation, we say no. She says no tables available until 6. Restaurant is basically empty. I look online and they have reservations available at all time slots from 4:30 on. Amazing.
Good happy hour wines and the bartenders were nice and attentive. Will go back to try the food.

Ventilation y’all — invest in some. Open kitchen with seating upstairs; you can see the smoke in the lights and you can taste it the air. Not fun.
The food read a lot better on the menu than it tasted. Ribs weren’t hot, mushrooms had too much vinegar, the potatas bravas were decent (the sausage was interesting) and while they were all very kind, we had super slow, inconsistent service.

Price for value is not there. Detoured evening for this to be a spontaneous stop on the way home as we were excited to find Gildas. Bartender said the order comes with two but was surprised when they brought the plate with one, he checked to see what happened and said they "change things up on him", insinuating that one was left off the plate. Waited an extremely long time for the next one to come out, to find that we were charged $16 for two of them. Staff was extremely nice and really appreciated that, it lent to the fun of our experience. However, paying nearly $60 for two Gildas and a drink each (two of us) plus additional Uber rides to get here, overall left me with the feeling that I don't know if I'd like to visit again. Really a bummer but had higher expectations for our visit.
We had dinner last night and tried the restaurant week menu. Wow! The food was so delicious from the bacon wrapped dates, croquetas de jamon, moorish spiced ribs, etc... The food was excellent and the portions generous. We will definitely be revisiting Ultreia again soon. Highly recommend!

We were too early for their “restaurant week” special, so we ordered a tortilla española, patatas with octopus 🐙 and thought the glass of sangria was over our budget. We forgot that they are only “tapas” not an actual full meal. So basically we spent over $30 on a couple of small dishes. We went and found another restaurant for restaurant week.
Vegetarian options: They have options to add a meat or not.

We are here on a Tuesday night. There was a pleasant buzz of diners. Even when we were leaving around, 8:30, folks were just getting arriving.
The croquets were some of the best we’ve ever had. The cheeseburger was also a great version of a Big Mac. The goddess salad was so so and the mushroom dish could have been skipped.
Great place for a date or friends. Would go again.

I wanted to love it, very friendly service, good bartender, good atmosphere but the food just wasn’t good. The pan con tomate was greasy, the croquetas con jamon didn’t taste much, kind of bland and the ensalada de uva felt like it hadn’t been washed properly. My stomach hurt after the meal for a while too. Also expensive, ended up spending $60 for a solo meal.

We reserved a table with a big group of 10 and really enjoyed the variety and our tempered order size for such a large group. They were all honestly delicious, but the highlights were the bacon-wrapped dates filled with cream cheese (4 pieces), patatas bravas with octopus, moorish spiced ribs, and churros. Excellent sharing sizes and surprisingly well executed dishes for a high traffic tourist location in downtown. 100% will take my wife here on a date!

Shelby made our night. Food was delicious especially the soup. A bit surprised they used the same wallpaper print for both sides of the main corner! Otherwise very pleased! One more note: we were seated on the bench seating in front of the kitchen. We noticed it's pretty jarring when staff are putting clean glasses away behind the bench. It's a loud knocking noise. Just some padding would solve the problem.
