Favorite neighborhood bar! Great local spot with dive bar feels, but late night menu. I love to go here during the week after later rec games or on the weekends with neighbors and friends. Reliable food. Some nights, they do seem understaffed, but I think that's just because they'll get unexpectedly busy on random weeknights. Servers/bartenders are great. I often see one or two of them hanging out there when they're not on that night which I think is a good sign.

I stopped by Vesper Lounge on Sunday for the burger and beer special. I was dining alone and placed my order with the server. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked for an update and was told, “it should be out soon.” Meanwhile, I watched several other tables who arrived after me get their food, finish eating, and leave.
Another 30 minutes passed before the server informed me that my ticket never went through. He said the food would be out shortly, and I waited yet another 30 minutes before it finally arrived.
As someone who works in the service industry, I understand mistakes happen but waiting over an hour and a half for a burger, with no proactive communication until I asked, reflects poorly on the service. The server walked past me several times without checking in, which made the experience even more frustrating.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Vesper Lounge based on this visit.

We went to Vesper's for their sunday special, a burger and a beer for $12. The burger was good, the fries were great, and the price was amazing! This is a fun hang-out place with good food, and you can't ask for more than that.

Female bartender was extremely rude, hostile, and unwelcoming to the point where we left and waited outside for our food that we already ordered. We'll never be back again, shocked at how we were treated after putting in a decent sized order. If we hadn't already ordered food, we would have just left immediately. Please train your bartenders on how to treat your patrons with respect and decency.

I had made a reservation, but when I arrived, they didn't let me in because they had a private event. They didn't advertise this on OpenTable where it said the restaurant was available. They let other people in, and their organization was very poor - no one seemed to know anything. If you want to have a really bad experience, go to Vesper and Seraphina.
