The Vesper Lounge has been the greatest neighborhood bar a new to Denver guy could move in next to. Jesse remembered me on my second visit and Spencer and everyone else have made me feel so welcome. Good food, Great pours and great tunes.

I told Vespar tonight that there was a guest making me feel uncomfortable as a woman, and they diminished my entire experience and told me that I was wrong and then kicked me out. I am a very regular person here who has never caused any issues with any guest or bartender for that matter, and the fact that I voiced my concern about a man making me feel uncomfortable and then they told me I was wrong and made me leave, I will literally never step foot in this bar again, and I don’t encourage any woman who has respect for themselves to ever step foot in there either

Favorite neighborhood bar! Great local spot with dive bar feels, but late night menu. I love to go here during the week after later rec games or on the weekends with neighbors and friends. Reliable food. Some nights, they do seem understaffed, but I think that's just because they'll get unexpectedly busy on random weeknights. Servers/bartenders are great. I often see one or two of them hanging out there when they're not on that night which I think is a good sign.

I stopped by Vesper Lounge on Sunday for the burger and beer special. I was dining alone and placed my order with the server. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked for an update and was told, “it should be out soon.” Meanwhile, I watched several other tables who arrived after me get their food, finish eating, and leave.
Another 30 minutes passed before the server informed me that my ticket never went through. He said the food would be out shortly, and I waited yet another 30 minutes before it finally arrived.
As someone who works in the service industry, I understand mistakes happen but waiting over an hour and a half for a burger, with no proactive communication until I asked, reflects poorly on the service. The server walked past me several times without checking in, which made the experience even more frustrating.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Vesper Lounge based on this visit.
