Gluten Free available on all items. Clearly labeled vegan options with a green V. Had a great deal of a breakfast sandwich, home fries, and coffee/oj for just $9.
I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but the beet brownie was delicious. Moist and rich without being too sweet!
Vital Root had several vegan options and states almost all items can be made vegan. Some of them are marked gf/v, but you must specifically ask for vegan or gf! Breakfast burrito and ube mochi pancakes were super tasty. Our lattes were also really good!
Lots of choices. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff
Great spot with delicious vegan options and friendly staff.
Vital root already had a strike against it when it went from vegetarian to not last year, but I have been going to this restaurant off and on for a couple years and the main problem is they have continually increased prices and shrunk servings. Food is no longer super obviously vegan or not although the staff does try to help and I did manage to get two inherently vegan items (banh mi tacos and the cashew queso). The tacos were bland and largely unseasoned tofu and a cabbage slaw ($14 for two tacos). The queso formerly had an interesting walnut based chorizo but it is now pretty run of the mill as well ($14 on the small plates).
Wow. Delicious. Had the French toast. And the juice. I'd try the whole menu. Good vibes. Immaculate food!
Everything was awesome. The host went above and beyond helping one member of our group who had a very strict dietary restriction. And they offered ample substitutions.
The ambience is wonderful. Open, semi outdoor but not too hot and modern chic.
A cost-effective way to enjoy fine dining!!!!!
Great kids’ menu that actually tastes like real food.!!!!!!!!!!!

Super yummy! I had the falafel wrap and it was super yummy plus the gf wrap stayed together and sauce was great. I love that they have uncommonly gf desserts and I hope to try them next time I come. I wish I had a little more falafel in my wrap cause it was so goodddd
An exceptional menu with something for everyone!!!!!!!!
So I got two things that equaled over $20. I got the house fries and I was asked if I wanted the fries tossed in a sauce and I asked if it would be extra and was told no but I looked on my receipt and I was charged $2 for the sauce. If I would of known it was more I wouldn't of gotten the sauce.
yummmmmm! Great service. friendly and fast.
They only recently started serving meat. Used to be my favorite restaurant in Denver, but now it's a close second. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-17
