We had a baby shower Saturday in the back indoor outdoor patio which felt beautiful and a perfect fit for a less than 30 person size party. Tacos were great! Tea was really good too 👌🏻 super great wait staff!

I went into Vital roots with my daughter prior to a flight. Knowing I didn't have a ton of time I ordered togo. After a very long time waiting I finally went and asked about my order. They looked at me like deer in headlights and said it wasn't ready. I told them that I could not wait any longer and prepared to leave without my order. They immediately offered a refund in the form of a gift card. By the time they got me a gift card the order was ready which they also gave me. The food was great just be sure you are not in a hurry. I felt bad that they gave me the order and a gift card but it was obvious they wanted to make sure I was happy.

Overall, just a fantastic experience. I was new to Vital Root and a friend encouraged we go here for lunch. Glad we did. It was a little early for lunch so I opted for the breakfast burrito and a hibiscus. Margarita. My friend opted for the vegan bacon wrap sandwich. Both were top-notch full of flavor. Couldn’t ask for anything more. They have a lot of options on the menu for vegetarians, vegans, and non-vegans. Will be visiting soon again. I joked with one of the staff about making the hibiscus margaritas bottomless. She said no problem just that she would need a credit card on file. We both had a good laugh.

Decided to dine in for restaurant week. Underwhelming and many of the options were strange. The risotto style sunflower seeds was salty and had too many weird things like corn nuts. Overall sauces were good, tiramisu was gummy and tables were sticky and unkempt. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-09

Celiac and dairy free winner! My friend who has multiple food restrictions was in town, and I knew VR was the place to take her. We both enjoyed the food and the feeling of safety for her while eating out.
The staff was super helpful and fun, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

I stopped by here with the kids after the cat cafe. I really wanted to like this place, given their exemplary dietary adaptability. The staff was amazing!!
The food was ok, but a bit too salty and had some different flavors.
Towards the end of the meal, my child thought a book had dropped between the booth back and wall. When I looked with my flashlight, there was a large amount of mouse poop hidden down there between the bench we were sitting on and the north wall (next to the water station). Immediately churned my stomach.
I did try to reach out via email but was sent somewhere else on the website.

This place is dangerous if you have food allergies - be very careful.
Our son has a soy allergy so we were exited to find a place so focused on dietary restrictions. We called in advance to confirm no soy, confirmed at the restaurant, and even called when home to confirm because it seemed a little off.
Luckily his allergic reaction wasn’t life threatening, but when we called today to confirm, the ingredients in there did have soy.
Please be careful - we’re lucky he’s safe but I wouldn’t want something serious to happen.

Certainly not healthy vegan and Denver has WAY better options! The ramen had so much sugar in it we couldn’t eat it. The loaded nachos were goopey, cold and gross. There are much much better vegan cheeses available than the plasticky cashew nut mess that was slathered over some over salted “multigrain” chips. There’s a reason the was empty when we visited. AVOID!

After seeing a TikTok video, I decided to visit this place, expecting a great experience. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be very disappointing.
The first thing that stood out was the lack of cleanliness. Several tables were dirty, and the self-serve water station with glasses was shockingly unclean, which immediately raised serious concerns about hygiene.
The food itself was also a letdown. It was extremely salty, bitter from an excessive amount of garlic, and noticeably greasy. The flavors were unbalanced and unpleasant. This was especially disappointing because the chicken looked good and initially had a lot of potential, but the taste completely ruined it.
Overall, the experience did not live up to the expectations set by the TikTok hype. Due to the poor cleanliness and disappointing food, I would not recommend this place.
