Best seafood in town. Great ambience. Fresh seafood ti meet all palette's. Highly recommend!
Great quality food, solid service although we sat at the bar and they were overwhelmed. Best of all - atmosphere - a refreshing change for downtown Denver, and very well done. Worth a go.
Food was absolutely delicious. The service was abysmal bordering on mediocre. The server did not seem to care or even wanting to work .
JT our server has excellent recommendations and pairings! The halibut dish would be outstanding if you get rid of the lettuce wrap and make it a choice of side dish instead. The fish and chips excellent! We will be back!
We had a great meal but the service was pretty slow even though we were one of 3 occupied tables in the section. The food, however, was excellent and perfectly prepared.
What was excellent: Oyster tray. Grilled octopus. The bottle of Malbec. The waiter and service. What was disappointing: The halibut cheeks. Bland and overcooked. Clams: chewy. Bland sauce. 2 of the 4 dishes were excellent. 2 of the 4 dishes were well below average. We were not ‘wowed' when we left. Above average overall.
The clam chorizo appetizer was one of the best things we ever had. The salmon and risotto was very good; the salmon was perfect, but the risotto was over salted. The seared tuna with strikingly average and also oversalted. The maple cheesecake was fantastic — the maple was subtle and hit the perfect note. The sour cream ice cream was the perfect complement to the cheesecake. Highly recommend “a night in Osaka”; what a wonderfully light and balanced cocktail.
My hubby and I came here for a date night, and like always, Water Grill did not disappoint! We love coming here, it's always a wonderful experience!
Good food, good service, nothing bad here, nothing jaw dropping either. I guess at that price point it is on the higher end of good food, so everything was right in line. Restaurant was enormous or seemed to be.
We love sitting at the bar with experienced bar tenders who are friendly and make you feel at home. The raw oysters (Rappahannock) were exceptional and the Halibut cheeks were delicious! Everyone at Water Grill is very friendly and accommodating. Plus, this is a very pretty restaurant! The ambience, service and food is why we can't wait to come back to Denver to enjoy another fine dining experience at Water Grill.

Shrimp had very little flavor. French dressing tasted right out of a bottle. Deviled eggs had been sitting in the walkin for a while and developed a tough 'skin'. David, our server, was Wonderful!!!
Amazing experience. Surprised with a dessert for our anniversary. Just an amazing low key experience! The waygu steak- epic!
My wife and I go about once a year and while expensive it is a great restaurant. I always feel like I get food that I love. Food is very high quality and the sauces are great. We had a clams and chorizo appetizer that was a highlight.
It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was unbelievable. Gus was our waiter and I don't think I could thank him enough for this amazing visit. I brought my family in to eat.. it was our first time eating some of the delicious seafood they offer and Gus went over the whole appetizers and dinner and how to completely enjoy every bite!! I will absolutely come back and visit and it will not be soon enough!! Thank you Water Grill. I wish you had location in Minnesota!!
The food is decent but nothing to write home about. We consider it a backup restaurant when we can't get in to better restaurants. Bread is great. Good selection of food. Seafood is fresh. Just not interesting.
