The smoothies were slushies. Clearly made with lots of ice, watery, soupy, and diluted :(
Drinks are always at best just warm. The make it fresh but need to change the hot water temp they are using. They clearly are not using boiling water

I was in the area and needed a quick bite and a cup of tea. Unlike most of the shops in this part of town, particularly to the west, there's lots of street parking at the Whittier Cafe. The folks were wonderful, the tea and food I ordered were perfect, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. There's an outdoor seating area too, so I'll be back in warmer months to come. Five stars and two thumbs up!

I like the soul music and vibe of this local coffee shop. They support local artists and local community. I feel lucky to share that space and experience with them.
Normally this is my favorite coffee shop and the only place that makes chai the way I like it. Today the barista was so rude, I’m questioning what’s going on. She wouldn’t look at people and discouraged ordering any food. She didn’t say a single word and walked away before I could tell her I had more to order. Looks like they are short staffed today, but that doesn’t mean you get to be disrespectful.
Hope this is a fluke and things return to normal moving forward.

Walked in randomly today into this gem! Best cappuccino I’ve had in a while and the food was delicious. The service and the atmosphere are 100% on point.

Great place. Music, atmosphere, and coffee are all wonderful.
Above all else though, this feels like a spot run by real people. There’s an immediately tangible personal touch to it, from the energy of those behind the counter to the presence of regulars and more. If you value that I can’t recommend this enough.
Also great prices for breakfast lol

The affogato was excellent. Atmosphere and service was great as well. Plant and art game strong. Overall good vibes and very good espresso.

Loved the atmosphere there. Chill, and quiet. Seemed like a great place to work, or hang out if that's what you want. The staff was kind and accommodating. I didn't try the coffee at the shop, but I did buy a quality cotton t-shirt, which I love. I went to the shop to buy their coffee beans. I bought a medium roast Rwanda coffee, and it delivered in spades. Brewed in a French press (for those that care). I highly recommend this coffee shop if you're in the greater Denver area.
