I have honestly hesitated to write a review for this place for so long, not because of anything negative but simply because I've wanted it to stay a 'hidden gem' and keep the influencers from taking over. But I finally feel like not talking about Wide Right is doing it a disservice, so for what it is worth I truly feel like this is the best bar in Denver. We discovered it as a karaoke venue two years ago and have come back for comedy shows, Bills games, and the incredible community ever since. This truly feels like 'that bar' you go to when you want a guaranteed good time without the $20 price tag on cocktails or pretentious atmosphere that can come with the downtown bar scene.
As karaoke is still the main draw for us, I want to mention how insanely large catalogue of songs is, and the fact that I've heard everything from "Faith" by George Michael done as a heavy metal screamo rendition to "New York, New York" all in Spanish (and everyone is cheering it on equally) just speaks to how welcoming of a space the staff and management have created.
I mean it when I say there is no such thing as a bad night at Wide Right, and every new person I bring here agrees. Shout outs to Megan, Big Mike, Pizza Logs, and every regular who makes this place such a blast ?

We’ve always loved Wide Right for karaoke and comedy nights - recently we held a private karaoke event for our “night before” wedding party AND IT WAS EVERYTHING!! They came up with specialty cocktails for us that guests are still raving about as well as the late night snackage. Everyone had such a good time with karaoke and host did a great job making sure everyone who submitted was able to get up for a number. So so fun! You the best Wide Right!

Imagine a night so hilariously brutal, it could make a fire-breathing dragon break into a sweat—that was the comedy roast battle championship I attended with my crew. If you’re looking for a night that will leave you charred from laughter, this is the event you cannot miss.
The host, a devilish ringmaster with a grin hotter than a thousand suns, kicked things off by announcing, “Welcome to the roast where no one is safe and everything gets burned!” And boy, did he deliver. The first comedian took the stage and started roasting his opponent with jokes so precise, you could almost see the flames licking at their egos.
But the true star of the show was the judge—a roastmaster general with the demeanor of Simon Cowell and the ruthlessness of Judge Judy. One guy bombed so spectacularly, I swear his self-esteem evaporated in a puff of smoke.
The roasters were on fire. One comic took one look at his opponent and said, “You look like a failed science experiment between a scarecrow and a baked potato.” The crowd howled. Another gem, “Your fashion sense is so bad, even Goodwill wouldn’t accept your clothes as donations.” Savage, and yet eerily accurate.
By the final round, the stage was a battlefield of searing insults. The last two comedians went at it like gladiators in a coliseum of comedy, each joke a perfectly grilled skewer of humiliation. The audience erupted, people were falling out of their seats, gasping for air.
The winning comedian stood triumphant, basking in the glow of victory and ultimate bragging rights. This man won only by using a camera. Genius. Even the stone-faced judge couldn’t help but crack a smile, a rare event akin to seeing a snowstorm in the Sahara. My friends and I were doubled over, our sides aching from the relentless hilarity.
This roast battle was a must-see spectacle, a night where everyone got flambéed and left with memories seared into their minds. If you ever get the chance to attend a roast battle championship, do it. Grab your besties, strap in, and prepare for a night of relentless, gut-busting hilarity. Just be warned: you might get offended. You might cry from laughter. You might even book another session with your therapist because of all the trauma dumping & bonding. But trust me - it’s worth losing your ego over :)

super busy place with a lot happening all at once but the bartenders and the hosts are so gracious and inclusive to everyone. Clean establishment the bartenders were wiping down the bar and doing what they needed to do through a crazy night. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for quick drinks and quick good food
