Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and they gave me what looks to be something from the trash can. The most foul thing I’ve ever been given. I’m astonished that they have higher than a 1 star rating

I ordered on instacart 14 specific dounts for my teammates and that is not what I got. My staff sadly couldn't eat them. This is what I ordered and what I got... I have called several times and the phone just rings.... no one answers i have called multiple and sat waiting and no answer.

We got a breakfast burrito and a couple donuts. The burrito was so awful. Do not waste your money. I threw it away after 2 bites. The bear claw was amazing and the sugar donut was old and dried out.
So the only thing I would go back for is the bear claw.
The place itself is outdated and could definetly use a good deep cleaning.

I ordered early in the morning, expecting to receive fresh donuts. Sadly, there is no way anything in that box was baked today. Apparently, this isn’t even an actual “Winchell’s” anymore, but they haven’t changed the name in Uber Eats or elsewhere. This frosted, dry bread isn’t Winchell’s quality, and the special on Uber Eats was 14 donuts, and I only received 12. I opened the box, and one donut looked like an animal had been gnawing on it. It must have happened yesterday because nothing in this box was fresh.

They need to teach their employees how to use Groupons, or stop selling them...

Donut Town, you seductive pastry palace, you lured me in with your dazzling display of doughy delights, only to deliver a flavor flop that left my Aussie taste buds more confused than a kangaroo at a snow party. Let’s dive into this sugar-coated letdown with a hearty chuckle.
The donuts? They looked like they belonged on the cover of Vogue: Pastry Edition—all glossy, plump, and ready for their close-up. I was drooling before I even ordered, expecting a flavor explosion that’d make my taste buds do a happy little didgeridoo dance. But then I bit into the jam donut, and… mates, what even was that? It was like someone filled it with “essence of vague red goo” instead of proper jam. My Aussie palate was screaming, “Where’s the jammy goodness? Did you swap it with discount cough syrup?” It didn’t hit; it barely even nudged.
On the bright side, the place was cleaner than a freshly scrubbed billy can. Not a crumb out of place, no sticky floors—Donut Town’s hygiene game is so strong it could moonlight as a surgical ward. And the young bloke behind the counter? Absolute legend. Friendly as a quokka on a good day, serving up smiles like they were free with every donut. Too bad his charm couldn’t save the flavor fail.
Donut Town, you’re a looker, but your taste game is weaker than a flat white made with decaf. Maybe it’s just my Down Under taste buds expecting a proper jammy punch, but that donut was a culinary crime scene. I’ll give you points for presentation and vibes, but next time, I’m smuggling my own Vegemite to spread on top. Cheers for the effort, but this Aussie’s hopping elsewhere for his sugar fix!

This place is the best for every reason I shop here for I think probably around 20 years or so I don't even know if they've been there that long I remember one time I went in and had my choice of Donuts I usually do 10 - 20 dollars worth first time in particular he didn't have change for a 20 or something like that so he gave me the donuts for three I couldn't believe it I went back in and paid him back for the donuts about a week later but it's that type of service that will keep me as a customer forever

The donuts are the best so fresh and soft! They could use to clean up the place. The service was good just keep an eye on what they are changing first time tried to charge for fancy donuts didn't get any fancy donuts!!

I ordered online and they messed everything up. I ordered 14 donuts, only received 12. Ordered a burrito that was never sent or made. As well as I ordered a caramel coffee and it came as a black iced coffee. Terrible location, only issue I've ever had with Winchells. Yet again first time I've been to this location, but it's also the last if they're not competent enough to make 1 complete order
Delicious donuts and a friendly dude behind the counter, at least in the mornings. Great value. My crew loves the donuts and so do I.
Really great donuts and such kind staff! The owner and his son helped me, both so kind and gave me a free coffee. Great glazed donuts and apple fritters!
This place renamed to Donut Town. I would never eat from here. The floor in the lobby sitting area is literally covered in crumbs and has not been swept or mopped in years by the looks of it. The kitchen area also looks pretty gross. The hood over the range is nasty. There is a greasy cardboard box they stand on instead of a real floor mat. I can only imagine the rodent issue they must have. I tried to order a strawberry smoothie - and after waiting for nearly 10 minutes the guy told me they had an issue with the blender. Yikes- I think I dodged a real bullet here. Food safety is a huge concern. BEWARE!
My little friends love picking out their favorite donut here.
