I went in because it was highly recommended to me by multiple people and after traveling to Israel it's been tough to find any Mediterranean food that can compare. Unfortunately I waited about 10 minutes ready to order and hit the bell as directed by their little sign and no one ever came to take my order. I have a limited amount of time for lunch so I left to go elsewhere. Maybe next time I'll get to try it out.

I think this place focuses on catering rather than individual patrons as they will give little attention to you. With saying that, the food was very good. The chicken was a little greasier than I prefer for Chicken Shawarma, but still very tasty. The tzatziki was excellent. I would definitely order from here again, but it would be to go and not dine in.

Best hummus and babaghanoush in Denver! Everything I've eaten there is delicious too!

I only had lunch there once, so far, but both wraps were extremely well done. I was in a hurry and just ordered the chicken shwarma and a gyro. Basic I know, but they were both executed perfectly. The sauces were home made and excellent. Do not be fooled by the strip mall location. These people know Mediterranean/Moroccan food. I cannot wait to go back.

Ordinary food. Didn't taste well. Will not recommend to any one. I tried many places and this was the worse experience. Only baklava was ok.....

If you're looking for an authentic Mediterranean restaurant, look elsewhere. The hummus tastes like it came from a container you get at the grocery store. The rice was dry and flavorless. The pita bread was a joke, barely warmed up. The gyro meat was chopped up like spam. The flavor of the meat was alright, at least it wasn't disgusting. And I know some or all of our food was microwaved because I could hear the girl, who was also the cashier, use the microwave and came out with our food shortly after. Apparently there's no chef around and it's all pre-made food she reheats? This place received 4 stars but I'm thinking there's just a lot of people in Colorado that do not know what good Mediterranean food is supposed to taste like.

We ordered takeout for the first time and have to say that I have had MUCH better! The falafel was very hard and the chicken was rubbery. While the hummus was OK, the pita bread was tasteless. There are much better places to experience Mediterranean food in Denver. Very disappointing.

When I found this place on-line early in May, I saw a huge menu, along with lots of items that they had for sale. But when I arrived, I was fairly disappointed by the limited menu and no items for sale stocked on the shelves. From the look of the surrounding area, this used to be a busy shopping center, but when the largest store closed down, so did most of the smaller spots nearby. Don't let the deserted look of the center or the condition of the parking area put you off. Also, do not go there on a Saturday because it is closed due to religious reasons. My feeling is that they should probably move to a better location, because their food deserves to be tried by more people. Today, when I looked at their site again, it looks like they have posted a new and updated menu. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was quick, but the atmosphere is not that of a regular restaurant. I had a Gyro which was superb and large. I had the rest for dinner and it was still great heated up.

The food was not worth the money. It tasted old and felt like it was refrigerated and put in the microwave before serving. The falafels were as hard as a rock! I've been to this place before when they used to serve you to the table but they don't do that anymore apparently and you have to order at the counter. Plus my boyfriend got sick from the food after eating here (I think because the food was old). It used to be a lot better here. Dissapointed and will not be back :(

Been here twice, both for take out. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options. They are not open on weekends, they close at 7pm mon-Thursday and 6pm on Friday so it's pretty hard to plan a visit when you don't live in the neighborhood. The second time we were there(around 5pm on Friday) they were planning to close early, so i wouldn't be surprised if I saw a 'closed' board after 5pm! Friendly people though, warm and welcoming. Everything that we tried had a simple, home cooked feel to it. Vegan harira soup was hearty but the overall flavor was just okay. Aviv's vegan panini was pretty good, huge portions too. It is eggplants and tomatoes so quite sour to taste. Hummus, baba ganoush and dolmades on the Veggie platter combo were pretty good. The rice though was dry, scraped off the bottom of a bowl dry, not fresh. The salads on the plate(bean and carrot) were simple. Falafels here are spiced differently and have a unique taste. Zaaluka and Salata Matbucha(sides) were both served cold(not sure if that's how it's supposed to be) but quite good. Pita didn't look housemade to me. Quite a few tables available if you are planning to dine-in. They also have many house made marinades, preserves and sauces for sale. Somehow, nothing stood out, for me to be in a hurry to return.

I only had a Greek salad, but was fresh and yummy. The chicken was seasoned well, there's was plenty of feta cheese, which I liked. A bit pricey, but I don't mind keeping the Mom & pops places open. The dining area was clean and comfortable.

Family owned. The food is abSOULutely fabulous! Do not be in a rush. If you are, call ahead and order to go. Otherwise, plan to order delicious homemade true Moroccan style food! This is my favorite place to enjoy healthy, traditional, from scratch family food! You will be thoroughly satiated and leave with a warm and happy feeling from food and the sincerity of everyone at Yaffa's. InJoy!

Great food and service! Would highly recommend it for Mediterranean lovers. Falafel, lamb, hummus, and dolmades were perfect.

This is southeast Denvers best kept secret! Yaffa's is like going home to visit family. The menu is amazing and authentic. I've latched on to the lamb chops & didn't know how much i love hummus. Well I like Yaffa's childhood recipe anyways. Please please go see Yaffa & have a wonderful meal & time! You should defintiely remember Yaffa's Savory if you ever need catering for an event. This is their wheelhouse & its impressive!
