Food was good, but overpriced. To be fair, the portion sizes were large. The service was very good, the wait staff was attentive. Unfortunately, it took way too long to get cocktails on both rounds that we ordered. It literally took longer to receive our drinks from order to delivery than it did for our food. 1st round of cocktails, ~15 minutes from order to delivery. Appetizer was between 5 and 10 minutes. Entree took about 10 minutes from order to table. 2nd round of cocktails took 20 minutes.

my hunny & i were on vacation last week & we decided to tiktok some places to eat. i came across this restaurant with phenomenal reviews & plus we have the same restaurant at home (DC) but we never experienced the environment until now! i made the reservation for Saturday night for our date night & THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT not one bit! once we arrived, we were greeted upon arrival & the atmosphere was beyond gorgeous & aesthetically pleasing. the host walked us over to our table (booth) & we sat down & were greeted with glasses of water. our server DAVID was a well-spoken of menu knowledge, he gave great recommendations including food & beer, he also recommend this beer called Mexican Lager which is similar to Corona (which we are a fan of) & lastly, he periodically checked up on us. For food wise, EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL from the drinks to the fried oreo dessert. for our appetizer, we had classic buttermilk biscuits with jelly & honey cinnamon butter. for our meals, i had shrimp & grits & i devoured the entire dish. my hunny had lewellyn’s fine fried chicken which he destroyed. for our sides, we had grilled butter broccolini & mac & cheese which both was TORCH but i do not recommend you take those side dishes to go. for our desserts, we had FRIED OREO’s which we both never had before & we are completely in love wit fried oreo’s now. overall, our date night at the restaurant was one for the books. BIG UP’s TO DAVID our server & the entire Yardbird staff. 10/10 recommend!!!

Yardbird has great chicken and their service is always very good. I did get a wedge salad that just had too much going on, took away from the enjoyment. I highly recommend their cornbread appetizer!

Steak and eggs are top tier. As a born and raised southerner, the shrimp and grits are BUSY. Way too much going on. Remove the ham and tomatoes and we can talk. Also, too much gravy added. We don't do it like that in the south. Instead of flooding it, make a small pool in the middle of the grits. Biscuits could also be fluffier. I'm only criticizing because I'm a born and raised southerner. But I will be back. You're doing a great job.

Weirdest dinner. Service was impeccable but timing was bizarre. We could have been at any fast food chain except that the food and service were top notched but we were in and out in 45 minutes tops. Why such rushed service?? So much for a lovely evening. Asked for more cocktails but got the check instead, guess we weren't the target audience of an empty restaurant. Made reservations thirty minutes before and that should have been a red flag, basically only chicken menu. No variety in proteins. A rib, a steak, a salmon. And chicken fried, baked, oh and fried. Meh.
Super expensive, only one server for all the tables (it was a slow midweek night), service was incredibly slow, menu was very limited. Food was good but not good enough for the price.

At Yardbird Denver, our brunch to celebrate my mom's birthday was a nice experience. The Smoked Brisket Huevos Rancheros, adorned with a sunny side egg, avocado, pico, and tortilla chips,, that was good. My wife opted for the Chef's Daily Omelet, complemented by a small salad and a buttermilk biscuit, which was enjoyable. My mom's choice, the Biscuit & Gray, featured country gravy, chicken thigh,, American Cheese, Bacon, and a sunny side egg--a nice combination that showcased Yardbird Denver's creativity in brunch options. While the service was noteworthy, providing a positive atmosphere for our celebration, I couldn't help but feel that the overall experience didn't quite match the high expectations set by the menu's prices. The dishes were undeniably tasty, but the perceived value left me uncertain about returning, considering the cost. Nevertheless, Yardbird Denver did contribute to a pleasant birthday celebration with its unique twists on classic brunch items.

Great food and drinks! Service was awesome. When it's not busy, I'm not sure why tables are seated in the sun...with no option of moving somewhere that someone doesn't have to face into the sun.

This place is seriously amazing. You need to go if you want some awesome friend chicken. They are super accommodating to every need, diet restriction, and seating. Breyanna the restaurant manager has a warm energy and truly cares about her guests. I will always come back to this place if I want the best fried chicken in Colorado. Even their other food is decadent and delicious!!
