First and last time visiting this restaurant. If no stars was an option, I would select that, to be quite honest.
Although, the thought of fish and chips (fries) was on our mind. We were beyond unhappy with the food and prices. Only fish offered is Cod! Unseasoned, battered and hot. The serving portion was as long as 6 inch sub. Your choice of seasoning is salt after its cooked and before its placed in a paper bag. Employees were not equipped with gloved, hair nets or mask when preparing or cooking the food. I appreciate the professionalism of the cashier. Eat at your own risk.

Perhaps it's because I've heard good things about the restaurant and had high expectations, but I was a bit disappointed after driving an hour to try it. I really enjoyed fish and chips in Ireland this summer and hoped to find something local that compared, but while the fish was nice and crispy, everything else left much to be desired. My fish seemed overcooked or just rather tough and dry. It lacked any seasoning, even salt, and while the tartar sauce provided was a generous amount, it was rather plain and bland as well, needing more relish and citrus. It was by no means terrible, but I don't plan to visit again. The clam chowder was also underwhelming. Staff were friendly. Malt vinegar, salt, and ketchup were provided on the tables which was nice. Wish they had some fresh lemons available.

Really the only affordable AND delicious fish and chips left in this region. You can choose the type of fish you want (cod, haddock, etc) or choose from their variety of fried shellfish/oysters or other British dishes (lots of choices - bangers and mash, Shepard's pie, pasties). All of it is sooo good. And I'm gonna say it tastes waaaayyyy better than the waaaayyy overpriced fish and chips place on Pecos.

Yorkshire Fish and Chips has been around for years — and it shows in every bite! They truly know how to make authentic, perfectly crispy fish and chips. The quality, flavor, and consistency are absolutely amazing. You can tell they take pride in what they do. If you’re craving real-deal fish and chips, give them a try — you won’t be disappointed!

The fish and chips seemed like it was cooked in old oil. It just didn't have a robust flavor. I eat Yorkshire Fish and Chips once or twice a year. It seems like the quality is going down and the prices are going up. This may be my last visit. They need to be competitive. It's easy to make fried foods.

It's wonderful. Fast service, great food, good prices for a hearty meal, and malt vinegar on the tables. They cook it to order and the fish comes so hot it's hard to hold onto, but all the of us were trying to get our piece to eat it while it was still steaming. Their cod is flaky, firm, juicy and tender and coated in a magical tempura like batter that is super crunchy. The other seafood in the combo was good, too, but the fish was great. The clam strips were sweet and chewy crisp the way we love them. I might get a full order next time with just the fish instead of the combo. It's amazing when a place really knows what they're doing.
The fries are solid as well, but the best part are the handful of crunchies from the batter that gets loose from the fish in the fryer. So glad they add those to the bottom of each serving. It reminded me of Japan, where the tempura crunchies are something you can use to top udon bowls.
They give you plenty of tartar sauce and cocktail sauce, and there's also ketchup on the tables for those that need more than vinegar on their chips. They also have glass bottle Coke and Fanta for those that love those in addition to the regular fountain drinks. A nice touch.

Been going here for years more than I can remember, food used to be good last few years food has been going down hill was always a bit pricey but thats ok if the food is good, last night was the last straw, last night gave me fish which was sitting by the fryer cooked ahead of time so no wait to get my dinner, got it home fish was way over done dry and flavorless and chewy, salt didnt help, and frys were soggy, the people working there I am sure they knew what they were serving me obviously value profit over customer satisfaction! wont be back!!!
