Ordered a full order of chicken tenders and a half order of fish, we received clams when we clearly ordered chicken tenders the worker acted like it was our fault instead of fixing the order. would’ve happily exchanged the clams for the tenders. have been here multiple times enjoyed the food. after this experience never coming back very unprofessional. decided to give the clams a chance after not being able to exchange the tenders and they were also not the best.

We have been coming to Yorkshire since 1972 and they have always been very wonderful people to do business with but this past year or two whoever the young kids that are working mid week or cutting doon the fish and chips. We receive half of what a normal order is even though the price has gone up. Very disappointed in whoever is working during the mid week, but when the original owners work, we always get a very nice order of fish and chips. It’s not right to go up in price and have kids cut your order in half. Literally your gosh seems like it was cut in half. Is someone pocketing money?? Original owners never do this. Like I said we have been going there since 1972

Haven't been here since covid. It was disappointing. The food is just not as good as it used to be. Too much. Coleslaw was vinegary. People are nice and food was fast.

Ordered shrimp small bowl of clam chowder tiny cup of coleslaw n a water. Mid thirties seemed pricey. Probably would have been ok if there was some decent size shrimp in all the breading. Not thrilled by any means. Tread carefully

The fried white fish is fantastic. Way better than a popular larger place that is closer to where I live. I've been to Great Britton 3 times, where fish and chips are their thing. The fish here couldn't even be improved upon.

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed by Yorkshire Fish & Chips this evening. I would not recommend patronizing this establishment until significant changes are made to the menu and execution of the food.

The fry on the fish was good from a textural perspective; however, that is where any commendation ends. I cannot even say with certainty whether any salt was used on either the seafood or the fries, which I believe is crucial to good cuisine in general. Even after liberally applying salt to my serving, the batter itself lacks much flavor. Fish tasted fresh, fortunately.

The fries were a tremendous letdown. I have had better fries baked in an oven at home, and freezer fries are likely better than these. They were soggy and unseasoned. Considering that the chips constitute half of the meal and are generally a mainstay at any fish and chips establishment, it is an unacceptable blunder.

Service was fast, but curt and to the point. The building, kitchen, and restrooms were clean.

I believe that if the chips are seriously looked at by the EC and if seasoning as a whole is rethought, Yorkshire F&C has a chance to redeem itself.

The food is tasty but overpriced in my opinion. Dining room is a little dated, but it's clean.

Vegetarian options: None that I can think of, aside from French fries.

Dietary restrictions: No options that I'm aware of

Kid-friendliness: Not a very fun spot for kids but they do have high chairs and there's adequate table space for large families.

Food is ok, I don't get what the fuzz is about to be honest. And it's VERY PRICEY not worth it for the lack of flavor. Flavor is non existent, all I could taste was the grease, fish and chips lacked basic salt and pepper any other seasoning/ any spice.
Tartar sauce... it was basically just mayo :/

If you are into deep fry by all means this is your place. Area is kinda sketchy but I didn't mind that since good food is often found in weird places.

Customer service 10/10

1st off parking is tight. If you have a large vehicle forget it. Someone dinged my driver's door there and you guessed it... didnt leave a note. Beyond that you walk in and there are no menus. You can only look at some flat screen TVs that are behind the ordering counter. This is inconvenient as if people are behind you in line you feel pressured to order fast. Another downside (upside for the biz owner) of no menu is that there are no photos or descriptions of the food. Next, it's not a restaurant where you are served; you serve yourself. Like a carnival food stand. Yet they have a tip jar up front which is annoying. Seating is barely roomy enough but adequate. Tables and decor is of the 1970s motel lobby style. Not a bad thing but is oppressive when added to other downsides mentioned above. Food is good but a tad on the bland side if there was a scale. Fish is hot and seems cooked and fresh enough but the chips are subpar sadly. Cole slaw is same as fish and chips, well prepared and fresh but again more on the bland side. Tarter sauce also seems fresh and is good but mild and more drab than exciting. For the most part 3 stars/fair rating not BAD or poor but needs work. A good cleaning and fresh paint and a much larger TV in the dining area would really really help. I did like the classic paintings with sailing themes very much. Also the staff was helpful and polite. Compred to their Fish and chip competition in Arvada (which I rate overall 4 stars) they are not far behind. Would I go again? Maybe. Price was reasonable.
