So delicious and can’t wait to go again. Loved being able to see the kitchen from the bar. Owners and staff were all wonderful and so happy we got to try it! It’s a must go!
We've been longtime supporters from their food truck days and we can't stop dropping in. We love the variety and the rotating menus along with the special chifa nights. The team is always providing charming and friendly service while creating amazing food that is ALWAYS hitting the spot. Dine in, take out, or even make at home with their frozen dumplings.

This was my second time eating at Yuan Wonton and it was just as exciting and delicious as the first time!! The Jok (rice porridge) is SO flavorful, the chili wontons are a staple, and we tried the fried chicken buns - PERFECTION. I always wish my stomach was bigger so I could eat more, but I guess I'll just have to come back ;) Thank you, Chef Wong, for giving us such an incredible place to eat in Colorado.

What can I say? Lots! When you follow a place on Instagram and live far away you get super excited to try out this restaurant for the first time. Chef Penelope is a bad asss. We didn't have reservations and were seated at the bar which I was truly excited about as I could see the kitchen and watch the magic. What did I see? A female leader empower her all female staff to exhibit their skills to feed us amazing food. We almost got everything and if you're a foodie, who was raised on home cooking, like myself you'll pay what it takes. In Colorado restaurant lilke this are far and few between. Chef Penelope oversees every dish that goes out. I'm so full right which is perfect for my 12 mile bike ride and 5k run this weekend

The food is impeccable. You are guaranteed to eat too much. Come with friends so you can share. Takes you time especially at lunch when it's crowded. Parking is not easy but arrive early and park a block away.

“I can’t think of a better bao bun I’ve ever had than this one.” My dining partners response to the perfection that is the TFC Gua Bao. Everything else we ordered was delicious - in order of preference after the TFC Bao would be the shumai, chili oil wontons, and dan dan noodles. I especially appreciated that the staff replaced our bottle of sake because the original bottle that was served was not chilled enough, without us asking - the temperature made a difference in the taste! Looking forward to returning to Yuan Wonton!

We reached after 3p and they had a limited menu. Service was great but the food was very limiting to the experience.

Bonkers! This is a restaurant where flavors wake you up and the food is delicious. Highly recommend giving this a go when you're in the mood for noodles and dumplings. I personally enjoyed the Dan Dan Noodles and OG dumplings. I always crave Sichuan / Chinese flavors and this place did not disappoint. The service was exceptional - constantly refilling water, clearing plates and paying attention to their guests. Really enjoyed my lunch here!

What I got: yg og oil wonton, schezuan eggplant dumplings, Shelby Js, chicken and chives wontons, and forbidden rice pudding.
Hospitality: just superb, what the standard of every establishment should be. The hosts greeted me with a radiating smile and were attentive and accurate on expected wait times. I came by myself and Rob, one of the owners, was a joy to talk to and gave wonderful insight into how everything began.
Atmosphere: sit in the bar area. Watching the chefs working their magic behind the scenes is a movie. Also, the visuals of what came out just make you not even look at the menu and get one of everything. Everything was super clean and had a great openness.
Food: I wish I could duplicate my stomach and order one of “everything”. Everything and I mean everything felt like a mother's hug on my taste buds with a soft kiss. It is just welcoming. The yg og oil wontons ordered this one twice; you had to. The balance between fat, acidity, and spice was out of this world. The umami in the Szechuan eggplant dumplings is divine. The Shelby Js, the baos I can place my head on and fall asleep after eating all this; so soft. The dessert with the fresh toasted coconuts was not too sweet and that is the best compliment you can give any dessert.
Final verdict: I wish I could transport this to Tucson and they can show what it means to meticulously look at every detail and deliver a menu that is coherent but each plate stands on its own. Go with a group of friends and literally “get one of everything”.

All the people who did not give Yuan Wonton five stars are just petty and are what is wrong with the world. The dedication to the craft is expressed in every food item they deliver. Go, take a friend or two, and order one of everything.

We didn't like the food , the service , the prices ... everything.
They've ruined dumplings now ? go to empress for friendlier service and similar dumplings. You'll be paying $100 for 2 people ...maybe more.
Fly to NYC Chinatown and have dumplings there and back. Probably cheaper that way (and it'll taste better too!)

Food is great but extremely overpriced for what it is. I owned a restaurant for 10 years so I get it but these are still wontons
