Went for restaurant week, thinking it was a good deal. The menu included 3 dumpling dishes, a main, and a dessert shared between the two of us, priced at $35 per person. After closing out and paying, we quickly realized that this “deal” was actually a rip off! If we had ordered these items a la carte off the regular menu, it actually would’ve been significantly cheaper than ordering off the restaurant week menu! And on top of that, they added a 6% restaurant week surcharge that the server didn’t mention whatsoever and that charge wasn’t written on the menu either. And the dessert was super small, like three bites total. After tip and everything, it was almost $100, when it would’ve been about $80 off the regular menu. It just felt like we got duped, when it should’ve felt like an actual deal. The food was pretty good, but there are dozens of better dumpling places in Denver for a much better price.

I love Yumcha, food 10/10. Service is a hit or miss but food is always a 10. Soup dumplings are the best I’ve had anywhere.

Tasty food but a disappointing food experience. Overall service was lacking and absent. Yumcha has a restaurant week deal that is meant to be shared as a couple for $35/person or $70 per couple. Although, this is no deal even though they are advertising it as one; if you order the most expensive items on the restaurant week menu, you save a total of $1 (cost of regular priced menu would bring you to $71). Also, on the restaurant week menu, you share an entree. We ordered the curry which is soup like but they didn't bring out individualized bowls or spoons. Our waitress was absent and had to be asked to refill water, bring utensils, etc.

Went for restaurant week and got to try a little of everything and everything was great! Personal favorites were the sweet and sour dumplings, crispy shrimp appetizer, and the kimchi fried rice.

My partner and I had a great time, and really enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu, the sake flight, and the cocktails we ordered. Our server was awesome the value was good, and we left so full!

Disappointed! When we chose this restaurant from the Restaurant Week website, it said $35 for 3 appetizers, 1 entree, and 1 dessert - I assumed for each person, but when we got to the restaurant, we learned that the price was $70 for a couple who shared the 3 appetizers, 1 entree, and 1 dessert. And we found out that one of the desserts was already sold out by 5:30 on a Sunday evening. And to top it all off, we validated our parking at the Sugar Cube apartments only to have the waiter put the validation QR code over the code to get out of the garage so we had to call the attendant who made us pay for parking. Poorly advertised, managed, and executed experience from YumCha restaurant.

Huge surprise to experience a valentines evening dinner without dessert. Cool marketing idea but unfortunately the vision wasn't expedited very well and we felt ripped off. Better luck next year.

Went to the early seating at yumcha for valentines all you can eat dim sum. There was a total of 8 people and the service was very slow. No food was brought out until 4:30pm. Drinks were slow to come out and then we were served two dumplings at a time. With that said, the food was very good when we finally got something to eat.

Serving small bites with a creative twist, Yumcha caters to lovers of asian cuisine in a more casual atmosphere compared to its sister restaurant, Cholon. We spent our NYE dinner here and overall had an enjoyable experience. In particular, we enjoyed the cheese rangoon purses, the fried pork dumplings and the general tsos dumplings. The kimchi rice had an overly smoked, almost burnt flavor as well as the beef buns that I wasnt a super fan of. The Nigori was not typical of unfiltered sake in the way I am used to and just had a strong overwhelming taste of booze.Perhaps my favorite thing of all was the dessert! The thai iced tea sundae with boba on top was to die for and it really completed the meal.

Love yum cha! The food is so good. Also love to sit at the bar, the main bartender is the best! He introduced us to the Nikki Coffey whiskey! ? ?

We've always loved Cholon, but now we love coming here, too. It may be seasonal, but they have plenty of veggie options for us! All are delicious

Food is pretty good and no wait to get a table on weekends. However, we noticed they included a 6% “DFW fee”. When we asked our waitress what this was, she told us it’s a fee required by law for all of Denver restaurants as a “service fee”- we looked this up and this is a made up thing; the lie about the hidden fee rubbed me the wrong way.
