Very little meat in chicken tiki masala. They charged me for garlic cheese nan and gave me garlic nan. Garlic nana was quite thin. Then they offered to sprinkle cheese on the Mann knowing that's not how you make garlic cheese nan. They were polite but not polite enough to fix the mistake and make the man correctly. These place is cutting costs and if the obviously watered down softsoap dispenser did not give it away it certainly shows up in the food. Chicken was like small tofu squares and couldn't if I was eating chicken or tofu. Meat did not have the texture of actual chicken but felt like some prepackaged deal. The chicken tiki masala was watery too. Shame bc they used to be a lot better and I call myself helping a local business but I won't be back.

My heart hurts! I’ve been a regular customer for almost six years now, and I’ve always said that Zaika has the best Indian food in Denver. In fact it’s the best I’ve had anywhere. However… A few months ago I stopped in for a meal and noticed that everything tasted a little different: less flavorful, less decadent, and a little thinned-out, for lack of a better phrase. I figured it was an exception—an “off” day—but I’ve returned two times since and walked away with the same feeling: that things have changed and the Zaika I love is probably gone, lost to tough decisions that had to be made for any number of reasons. I’m leaving five stars because of all the amazing meals I’ve had at Zaika, and I wish the very, very best for the owners and staff, but for now, I will be looking for a new haunt.
Ordered for tandoori chicken, it was niether marinated nor cooked properly.the chicken must have bern aged. The mai kofta was equally bad

Really sweet staff, loved everything they made, especially the onion pakora and dipping sauce! Ate outside and it was just a beautiful experience.

Stopped here on a random day about 2 years ago and have been a consistent customer since! Every time we dine in the service is amazing, the food is fresh, it’s reasonably priced, & the best part is they give you complimentary chai!

We loved this place! The atmosphere was warm and pleasant on a cold night. The food was delicious - dahl soup, saag, kerala curry with lamb, garlic naan, and chai. Raj was sooo helpful and kind and responsive! What a delightful meal and time!

Introduced my coworkers to Zaika tonight, and they're in love! I got the lamb biracial and they both got the chicken tikka masala. Fantastic food!

Delicious.
Edit: been hitting other spots in the area that are closer to me and many have nicer dining rooms (not that this one is bad, it's just a little more fast casual) but I haven't found one with better food. This is definitely my favorite. By a lot. Wish it were closer.

I recently visited Zaika Indian Express, and my experience was disappointing. When I placed my order, I asked for water, and the server (his name sounded like Mahat or Mahr) told me that water is self-service. I accepted that, but soon after, I saw him bring water to another table without asking them to get it themselves. That felt unfair and disrespectful.
I’ve never been to a restaurant where some guests are told to serve themselves while others are waited on. This kind of inconsistent treatment felt discriminatory, and it completely ruined my experience. I hope the management addresses this and ensures all customers are treated equally and respectfully in the future.

I stopped in for a change from fast food and was totally delighted. I ordered chicken biryani for a quick lunch and was delighted at how delicious it was. Cannot wait to go back and try more menu items. It was fresh and just the right amount of spice (medium is what I asked for). Can’t wait to go back and try more items based on their great reviews!!!

I came in exhausted from a long day, asked what they recommended, and ended up with the Lajjatdar and garlic naan. I sat waiting while sipping delicious chai. The first bite of my food was warm, fresh, spicy, and rich. I will be coming back here. Good people, good food, good atmosphere.
