This happened on 9/12/25 at 9:35am I honestly hate to complain and I hate to write a bad review. Especially for Ziggi’s, literally my favorite place to get my energy drink every day for like the last 3 years! But since I’ve moved down to Westminster, I’ve had a couple of bad experiences at two different locations. I don’t know what it is, but the customer service is terrible and today’s experience was worse than my last bad experience due to the barista who took my order at the window, who was extremely condescending and aggressive. I literally come to Ziggis almost every single day, and I order the same exact energy drink the same exact way every single time. So after three years, you would think I know what it tastes like! But today when I got my drink, it was a totally different color, that was the first red flag, and then upon tasting it it tasted so bad, nothing like what I usually order.. I literally wouldn’t take it for free let alone pay $10 for it Nobody wants to waste their money on something they don’t like or want. I’m sure the people who work there wouldn’t wanna pay $10 for something they didn’t like either! Yet the brunette girl at the window with the glasses and purple shirt was super rude to me. When I came back and told her my drink didn’t taste right she treated me like I was lying, who would wanna come back through the drive-through to complain??? Nobody but at the same time I don’t wanna waste my money because somebody doesn’t know how to make the drink right or is too lazy to make the drink right. She acted like the drink was made right and I just didn’t like it. I explained to her I’ve been coming for years getting the same thing she suggested they make it a different way from what I asked for. I told her no I don’t want it made differently. I want it the same way I’ve ordered for the last 3 years but I want it done right! She acted like I was a liar and such an inconvenience for her. They remade my drink and handed it to me this time by just looking at it I could tell it was done right because of the color. She kept insisting I try it right there at the window, and I kept trying to calmly and kindly explain to her that I didn’t want to complain, but it tasted so awful, and she got so upset and started yelling into the store saying that I didn’t want to taste it! As if that was proof that I was lying about how it tasted. Why would I wanna waste my time lying about something like this? If you don’t have a good customer service, maybe you shouldn’t be working with customers! Because gaslighting your long time customers and making them seem like they’re lying is not the way to go! I’ve included some screenshots from my Ziggis app account so you can see I’ve been coming here for a long time and almost every day! The app only goes back about one year and you can see how often I order.

I sent my finance to get me a drink. Added half and half to a dairy free drink. :( couldn’t even have it after staying up with a 3 mo old for four days straight. Just slightly disappointed and sad. Normally the service there is ok.

I stopped by this location today to grab a drink, and the entitlement from the staff was unreal.
The moment I chose not to tip at the drive-through, the woman with glasses handing me my order gave me visible attitude—no smile, no thank you, not even the usual chocolate-covered coffee bean they normally include. Just silence and a cold handoff.
I’ve heard mixed things about the staff here, and now I can say from experience: the rumors are true. If you expect basic courtesy without being guilt-tripped into tipping, you might want to take your business elsewhere.
Buyer beware! Take your business elsewhere.
This location seems to prioritize protecting employee attitudes over delivering a good customer experience.

Ziggi’s Coffee – Where Mean Girls Runs the Morning Shift
Stepping into this Ziggi’s location feels like walking into a high school cafeteria scene from Mean Girls—only instead of coffee, you get cold stares and passive-aggressive energy. The baristas act like they’re doing you a favor by acknowledging your presence, and any basic courtesy goes straight out the window the moment you don’t tip them for subpar service.
They expect a tip as if they’ve just performed heart surgery, not handed over a latte with attitude. If you don’t comply, brace yourself for the silent treatment, eye-rolls, and a complete shutdown of anything resembling customer service.
It’s incredibly disappointing to see a business run this way. The lack of maturity and professionalism is glaring, and clearly, management has no interest in stepping in or setting standards. Instead, they’ve let a group of 20-somethings turn a coffee shop into their personal clique—where customers are outsiders who better know their place.
I came here for a decent cup of coffee, not to relive the plot of a teen movie. Skip this location if you value respect, warmth, or basic human decency with your brew.

I don’t like what others are saying about salsa (it’s a coffee shop people) 😊 and other nonsense but I did like this company until I noticed this particular location not listening or doing things professionally. They keep putting stickers on hot coffee lids where you put your mouth on it. I pointed it out so many times and their lame excuse ( and extremely unprofessional one) is “ we have to bc corporate makes us”. First of all, not good for the company ( glue where customers put their mouth on it = bad idea!) and also I highly doubt they keep telling you to put the sticker on the mouthpiece. Health Inspectors will love that. Not going back bc I gave them over 8 attempts to fix it and they don’t care. This is common sense and a serious health hazard
Update: you have got to be kidding me with this ridiculous response. I did what you recommended anyway and spoke with a manager Ashley that could care less so I’ve reported you to corporate. You’ve lost a customer and you’ll lose more for sure. You don’t care about the company nor the customers. You don’t think we see your response is just copied and pasted for everyone’s review?! Get it together.

Wonderful cup of coffee with several different things. In it. So I really appreciate their suggestions and kindness. And I had breakfast sandwiches well, that was really good. Customer service people were very helpful and I would recommend any time going to this location. My overall impression of the Ziggy that I was at is that it's well managed and the people that work there are very friendly and they get along.It seems everybody works in a team atmosphere and makes it very smooth when you order from them and get your order at the window
