Interesting place. The food was good however, you can’t substitute chicken in a taco. Which my son wanted to do. The reason this is unusual is because you can add chicken to any salad for seven dollars or so. But apparently you can’t add it to a taco. The menu is interesting. Overall, calling it a beer garden, though, however, might be an overstatement, or a misstatement. Other than that, it’s a nice place, read the menu before you go. I enjoyed my lunch. I would certainly go again.

we were in town dropping a vehicle off and wanted to eat somewhere we hadn't been. we were seated right away but we waited 30 min to even get water. We were never checked on after we got our food and had to ask for out ticket. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We celebrated our birthdays here! Maria, our server, was amazing and so attentive. Food was perfect! Beautiful kocation next to the river. We definitely will come back.

The atmosphere and patio area were incredible. Came here after a long bike ride and was able to relax and grab some beers and wings on the river. Maria was our server and was consistently checking in and making sure the experience was great.

5 Stars – Perfect for Families & Outstanding Service!

We had a wonderful experience at Animas River Beer Garden! The food was fantastic, the drink selection was great, and the setting by the river couldn’t have been more beautiful. What really stood out, though, was how welcoming and accommodating everyone was—especially with our two young daughters.

Our server, Jen, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, patient, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She made our girls feel right at home, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable for us as parents.

It’s rare to find a spot that offers such a fun and relaxing environment while still being incredibly family-friendly. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone—whether you’ve got kids in tow or just want a chill spot with great food and drinks!
