My family and I hit up Avalanche Bowl just about every time we’re in Durango. We’ve been to the 11th St location and The Nugget. Hands down my favorite bowls that I’ve had anywhere. The Tree Hugger is my go to, especially after backpacking trips where fresh greens are hard to come by. If you’re looking for meat, the Island BBQ bowl is excellent. This is chef-inspired fare - the flavors and ingredients combine in ways that you won’t find with your typical assembly line...
My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Avalanche Bowl Company at the 11th Street Station in Durango! I absolutely loved my fresh and flavorful Ahi Poke Bowl, and my wife's Thai Chili Tofu Bowl was equally impressive and delicious. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Highly recommend for a healthy and satisfying meal!
We heard the music of the venue from our hotel and walked over. It was after 7pm and they shut down at 8pm so we had time and came to this truck for dinner. I had the ahi poke bowl and she had the Mexican bowl. Both were excellent. However, her Mexican bowl took almost 25 minutes to get. She finally walked over to see what the issue was and saw them putting together a few of the same bowls. Not sure if they wait until they have a few of the same order before filling them...
