We had a great time! We had 4 grandkids with us, and from the tractor ride, the train ride, the playground, and the small shops, they were kep pretty busy. The show was simply amazing. From the humor throughout to the seriously talented guys, it was very enjoyable.

We found a brochure for this and it was exactly what my family needed. My husband, 17 month old, and myself had a great time. Everyone was so friendly, the drinks were good, my son had so much fun with all the family friendly activities! The food wasn’t bad, it was homemade, and the entertainment was fun too. If you’re around Durango and want an experience you have to go!

We met the guitar play on a bus going up to silverton and his boss was on there too .they were in the band at the chuckwagon place , it was a awsome experience . Very low priced for the amount of food and amazing entertainment . I would recommend this attraction to anyone that is visiting the area . We would definitely go back to this place again !!!!!!!!

Definitely worth the experience! We brought our 9 month old & found a Playground for the kids with baby swings, sandpit, shooting range, and train that takes you around the village. Plenty of cool shops to check out and a great spot to grab snacks or refreshments. (Great margaritas!) ? For the main show they usher u to your table where they provide a lovely dinner under the open sky. There is a cover that they will open over event area if u it rains! Assembly line is organized & goes quick. High chairs available, no strollers inside dining/ show area. The show was definitely one of a kind, the guys played great music & had some funny jokes lasting about 1 and a half hrs or more & ended at 9pm. However, I believe my 7,9,14 yr old may have gotten restless during the show as it is mostly folk music. They would have liked the other kid activities b4 the show. We went with as a work group & had a blast!

I would like to make one suggestion. I personally thank you for honoring our veterans since my family are all veterans and my son recently came home after serving 8 years and 5 deployments with the USMC. However, please take time to also recognize our first responders as well.
The chuckwagon experience was outstanding. Thank you for a great time of fellowship, good food and great music.

Do NOT come here if you are hungry. The food is awful and $39 for a micro piece of chicken, undercooked beans,dry biscuits…. The food is horrible. The seats are uncomfortable. The entertainment is so so. I’m sure some people would maybe enjoy this. I couldn’t wait to leave. I only have it three stars because of the poor employees who have to serve this slop are very nice
While vacationing in Durango, we searched for fun things to do. Bar D Chuckwagon came up as one of those things. We decided to try it out. We arrived early, so we were able to walk around the property and check out what they had to offer. They have some great photo opportunities. They were able to feed everyone very quickly, and everyone was very friendly. Food is always better when enjoyed outdoors! The entertainment kept us laughing all evening. We truly enjoyed our evening!

I've always enjoyed coming here and I have fond memories of coming here with my extended family I love the Sweet shop and I get Rock's from the masonry and I've gotten any many of things such as stuffed animals and rings and purses I also enjoy the play ground and all of the fun things such as the jail and swings and tunnels The food is delicious and amazing The show is the funniest and I my personal favorite song is the possum sleeps tonight it's so funny

Best part of this place is the blacksmith. The blacksmith and the staff in there are all very friendly. The place is very clean.
The women in the candy story are impatient. They get huffy when others in your group are still deciding what they want, no one was behind us.
Above all do NOT let your kid(s) waste $5 on shooting, unless you'd like for a grown man bully to get in their face to yell and belittle them. My biggest regret is not saying something to him but this rude man was a learning lesson for my family. I just hope the other people who were also upset would post a review.

Let me start by saying that the staff were great and friendly. And the show almost made it worth it. Very funny, and absolutely entertaining. But I got to say, the food was absolutely terrible. You get 6 oz of basically dog food meat slathered in bbq sauce. Throw in a dry plain potato and baked beans and you got it. To be fair, if the idea was to make you feel like you were an old miner/cowboy in 1887 then they nailed it. But if I ever even consider going again I’m eating before hand.
