We are 2 Texans with a great dane traveling the US to see what this beautiful country has to offer. On a day trip to Durango, we stopped in to try Buckhead’s brisket sandwich and tacos which were so delicious. I especially loved their Carolina Gold sauce that I had to buy some for later. The owner was very kind and accommodating, and allowed us to dine in with our dog. We don’t get to do that often because of her size, which is understandable. We highly recommend Buckhead West BBQ, and will dine in the next time we are in town.

This litle place was such a pleasant find!! The BBQ brisket sandiwiches were delicious!! The homemade sauces were out of this world!! The homemade potato salad was great!! I'm pretty sure the lady helping us was the owner because she was so customer oriented! Very friendly and welcoming!! Highly reccomend!!

Absolutely amazing. I got the pulled pork plate with potato salad & coleslaw side. The woman working was very kind I believe she was the owner. She gave us 3 different sauces to try and K.C was my favorite although the other 2 were just as good. The pork was absolutely delicious. Very attentive & enjoyed every second of the experience.

Looking for somewhere to eat lunch downtown while we were running errands and saw the 5.0 rating, the reviews weren’t wrong! We had the brisket plate and pork tacos and they were fantastic. The three sauce options were brought out in a flight and really complement the BBQ. Best of all the owners are hands on and are pursuing their dream of bringing Southern BBQ to the Southwest. This will definitely be our Durango goto spot!

Great BBQ! The owner operators are so welcoming. I loved the Georgia style, southern hospitality. Three absolutely delicious varieties of sauces that complement the smoked meat very well. They had Brisket Chili for a special. It was as good as it sounds, perfectly smoked tender bits of Brisket in a perfectly seasoned chili broth. Well worth stopping in if you're from out of town and if you lucky enough to live here, definitely get it into your dining out rotation!
