Delicious food, tons of vegan options, very reasonably priced for Durango—all made by the owner who is incredibly appreciative for the business. Everything I tried was stellar. Curry tofu, African dirt rice, collards, and chipati—all phenomenal. My omnivore partner said the meat items were excellent. Highly recommend this great little food truck!

Bliss from the first bite. Best curry I have had in an incredibly long time. Very flavorful, perfect amount of spices, heat, tangy, and light coconut flavor. I can tell this was infused with love. Chefs kiss!

The best place in Durango to eat! I consistently get the Moroccan lamb curry and Kenyan oxtail. The portions are great and very filling. Consistently good meat and quality sides (couscous and greens). The bee pollen dessert is also excellent. I rarely leave reviews but chef safari deserves it 😺
Ska is great but I never really sought it out until Chef Safari showed up. Now I can’t wait to grab a beer while I wait for my absolutely perfect chicken Tagine. Big love for this amazing chef! Hidden gem of Durango!
