Took one bite of the worst bagel of my life. Threw it away. Waste of time and money.

This is my first time in Durango and I’ve been here for a few days and so far I love everything about it. This town is amazing. The food is amazing but then I wanted a bagel. I came to Durango bagel with my friend and she told me that it’s not the best but that it’s OK. I don’t think I have been ever Catfished by a bagel place but today was the day. Not only was the server so sassy and mean the bagel was stale and cold and not toasted. My sweet friend asked for a latte but the server said no because she had just cleaned it. The latte machine, even though they didn’t close in another two hours. I also asked if I could scoop the bagel. She looked me up and down and said we don’t do that. For those of you who don’t know scooping the bagel takes maybe 10 seconds of just pulling out the internal dough of the bagel but looking back on this there was no internal dough of the bagel because the bagel was stale and shriveled. I really had high hopes for this place because I love Durango and their food. I think they would really benefit from a revamp of this bagel place thank you for the time of reading this review and I feel that I had to do this. I don’t usually do but thanks. Ps the cream cheese was good!

We had to stop here on the way out of town. We had wanted to try but it was Christmas week and they were closed Eve and day. The bagels were nice and soft inside, chewy outside. Latte was great as well.

If you’re gonna charge out the wazoo than ya better hire more than 1 person for a morning rush. Theres like 6 people in here and the poor girl is trying her hardest to keep up with the traffic. Meanwhile, a relatively low traffic line took 30 minutes because there is only one person.

The service was mediocre and it didn’t feel inviting. The food was way too pricey for what you receive. I got a bagel with cream cheese that had small flakes of salmon in it and it was $16. Not to mention my drink was watered down and cost $5.
Not only was the cream cheese not that great, it wasn’t applied well to the bagel and took re-spreading to cover the whole bagel.

Got two bagels, both had hair in them. Talked to the manager & she got us two new bagels. Which BOTH had hairs in it. Every time I come here I get a hair in my food. Most unhygienic place to eat in Durango by far.

Bagels are decent but there was only one person working there and the place was packed. The employee was doing a great job considering she was by herself. Me and the gentleman being me agreed that the place was to busy for just one person. I told the employee she was doing a good job and I can't believe she was alone, she said the other employee who was supposed to be there shows up when she feels like it. Wow! I'm amazed that would be allowed.
They also cook their eggs in plastic and in the microwave! Not good.

Very high prices for nothing special. The cost is completely unjustified for such an mediocre experience.

The service was good but not particularly friendly. The quality of the bagels were poor; thin, rather tasteless and overpriced. $14 for 6 bagels. I gave three stars to be generous.

Came out here from Arizona. Stopped in to grab breakfast on our way to Denver. What a mistake. $41 for 2 breakfast bagels and a tea is absolutely insane and the people working acted like they couldn’t care less. The highlight of this place were the 2 dogs that were outside and they weren’t even part of the store. Einstein’s is half the price and the food tastes better. Save your money.

Terrible experience. Latte was cold for me and my wife. Cinnamon roll was stale and cold. I was going to ask if she can heat it up a bit so I can enjoy it, but we cut it short, dumped everything and found a Starbucks.
