I wanted to share some feedback about a recent visit. I ordered a cappuccino for here, but it was made to go instead — and I was charged the higher price for the to-go version. When I politely asked to have it remade correctly, one of the baristas, Tia, responded with attitude, which really caught me off guard.
Customers shouldn’t have to argue or feel uncomfortable just to receive what they ordered, especially when paying top dollar for a simple morning coffee. I wasn’t trying to cause trouble — I just wanted the drink I asked and paid for, served the way I prefer.
When I requested a refund, I was told my ticket could be “updated” instead, which was confusing. I did eventually receive the refund, but the interaction as a whole — including being laughed at — left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected.
I understand mistakes happen, and maybe my order was misheard, but the response I got wasn’t appropriate. I hope this feedback helps ensure that future customers are treated with respect and understanding when issues arise.

July 13, 2025. Put in my order 3:14PM over the mobile app for college drive location. Order was quick to complete.
I should’ve gotten the baristas name (the girl barista that was there 🌸) , but I ordered the salty dog with special instructions “less salt cause I’m already salty enough today”… pun (I wanted to go swimming but it started thundering and lightning LOL)
& I ordered the green apple blossom. 🌸 BOTH. SO. GOOD.
Literally salty dog though… star of the show is the girl who made it. Literally SO sweet, made sure there wasn’t too much salt and it was hands down THE BEST coffee I’ve EVER gotten from Durango Joes which is saying something because I’ve been going there off and on for 4 years & I always give it a chance because it’s local and convenient. I called the store after I got home and told her too.
Like seriously thoroughly impressed.
Today this girl, (AGAIN. I WISH I GOT HER NAME, she was working with another gentleman who was also very nice) I’ve never gotten a drink from her before, she absolutely NAILED it. NAILED IT. If I could only have one barista make me coffee for the rest of my life it would be her. I literally chugged it before I got home which is saying something because I live 3 minutes away and wanted to sit on my porch and sip coffee but that obviously didn’t happen. Chugged it. Gone.
Y’all give this girl a raise and some praise. I’m so serious.

Coffee is awesome. I've been coming here for 20 years. Food vendor has changed, and breakfast burritos are smaller than when they made them in-house, but they still taste good - just not AS good and not as much food.

I’ve walked here a few times while doing laundry or waiting with friends, it’s just your typical coffee shop, friendly workers, clean bathrooms, they have puzzles to keep you busy but they don’t have all the pieces
